I'm going to show my age a little bit and break it down over the computers/consoles I've owned over the years
Atari: I don't remember the name of the game, but it was a weird knock-off of Centipede that my mum picked up at a market for about £2.50. No box, just a hand-written sticker on the cartridge saying it was a Japanese import. It was horrendous!
ZX Spectrum: Defenders of the Earth. (It was the first licenced game I ever bought, having LOVED the cartoon, and it was hugely disappointing.)
NES: Hudson Hawk. (Awful, just awful.)
Master System: Space Harrier. (It should have been amazing, like the arcade, but it was buggy as hell.)
Megadrive: Altered Beast. (One of the dullest pieces of software I've ever played.)
Gameboy (inc. GB Advance): Mortal Kombat Advanced. (*cries real tears*)
SNES: Super Ghouls and Ghosts (The first game ever to make me break a controller in anger!)
Dreamcast: Toy Commander (I actually loved most of my DC games. This is the only one I remember hating.
Virtual Boy: Everything. I sold the thing after two days because it gave me horrendous migraines.
N64: Megaman 64 (WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????)
Playstation: Tunnel B-1. (Couldn't seem to buy the damn console anywhere without this being included. Was immediately seen in vast numbers in every swap-shop and second hand store in sight)
Playstation 2: FIFA 2008 (An absolute dog of a game.)
XBox: Celebrity Deathmatch (A girlfriend bought this for me as a present. It almost ended the relationship there and then!
)
Nintendo DS: Lego Star Wars 2 (This was the game that finally inspired me to never touch any Star Wars game ever again until someone gets around to making a new Tie Fighter game)
XBox 360: Ninety Nine Nights (Urgh! Boring, repetitive, horrible.)
Playstation 3: Bioshock. (I'm not saying this to be controversial. I actually hated this game. The atmosphere and design and whatnot was great, but the gameplay itself was horrible. It's just a frantic FPS wearing fancy knickers and pretending to be something it's not.)
