Well it's true, massive cliffhangers usually mean a sequel is on the way. However, at the time it was shortly after release and all I got for my hard work was one line of dialogue from Desmond? Well gee thanks.googleit6 said:I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe it's because I picked up AC1 when there was already a sequel in the works, and I knew I was safe, but I was probably more fascinated that disappointed.JUMBO PALACE said:Assassin's Creed 1.
Maybe I'm just ignorant, but you don't just leave a single standing game with a cliffie like that, do you? (I'll bet there have been many, many games like that. :\ )
I'm a huge Silent Hill fan and i bought the Shattered Memories like a good little fanboy that i am about that series. All the game, all the running around just to see that stuff happen and people died... but nothing about the hero (Harry Masson) until you found out that He was married to Dalia Galespie (Major kick in the nuts of the fan) and that it was just a Cherril/Heather Masson psycho moment because she can't get over the dead of her father? So all, everything was pointless. The audio/photo log was pointless because it was all in her head? And not only didn't they "gave a new perspective on the series" with that reboot... but they scrap everything that happen in the later installment. Silent Hill 2? Never happen. Silent Hill 3? Nope. Silent Hill 4? Those character doesn't exist in this world anymore. Wow, I would like to borrow Yahtzee's word for a moment and say that they couldn't have miss the point if the fired in the wrong direction and the point was in another country. And don't ask me to put it in a spoiler tag, that travesty doesn't need such privilege.BlueberryMUNCH said:For me, the most dissappointing game ending had to be that of Fallout 3. Im sorry but just...URRHGGHBFHFGIGINR.

So guys, whatabout you? Dyou feel the same or have any others to share?
NOTE: Please be gentle about the spoilers!
That is true. I remember freaking out at first after the game, but then I calmed down, and realized that I was okay with the ending.JUMBO PALACE said:Well it's true, massive cliffhangers usually mean a sequel is on the way. Okay, here is a crash course in using the Spoiler tabs.Ironsouled said:Edit: if you haven't played that game by now, sorry for the spoiler, but I don't have a clue how to put tabs in.
Rumor as it that they are doing a compilation of Shadow of the collossus and Ico for the PS3. I'll be waiting for that thing to hit store shelves to play both at the same time.BlueberryMUNCH said:YHOO SPOILED IT FOAR MEH >=[Ironsouled said:Shadow of the Colossus.
Be the bad guy, take out these symbols of strength in purity of your world just so you can bring your girlfriend back to life and she Dumps you. My darker side was rightly amused, but the public face was righteously outraged.

hahano sweat. interesting you should say that though, on another thread i started entitled 'the most emotional video game endings', loads of people commented saying Shadow of the Collossus. still need to play that game omg o.o

It was told you again and again through the game. I first play a good character, follow the story and push the button... only to see the ending in 4 hours of gameplay. I was pissed off.googleit6 said:I will never be okay with Fallout 3's ending, though. How in the world was I supposed to know the code? That, and the fact that I couldn't play after, was way more disappointing than AC1, in my eyes.
Here is all you need to know. The town is alive and want your soul to his body count. It shift reality not only to scare you but to kill you as well. And if that doesn't sold you on it, theses will:BlueberryMUNCH said:L-O-L ive never even played any SH game [i know shshshsh] but GOD all that sounds so ridiculous!
and hahaokay, it can be an exception for being so bad;D
This! Man, I was so upset. I was like... Wait, are you kidding me? Then you just had free roam, which is fun and all but still, I really wish there had been something more.breadlord said:Bully. You know, the PS2 game, and then Wii, X360 and then PC game? The story just...ended. Like, right after you fight the end boss, in 90 seconds it's over.
