The Worst Online Communities

Talking trash about other online communities from atop our high horse is second only to making avatar threads and getting into heated arguments over a certain children's cartoon [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic?from=Main.MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic] on the list of things we Escapists love to do. So once again, it's time unleash your inner judgemental snob and tell everyone: What site do you think has the worst online community?

Before you post, however, there is a slight twist. It cannot be 4chan (or more specifically, /b/) or Youtube, because honestly, that goes without saying.

With that in mind, sneer away.

I'm going to lean towards the gaming community of a specific video game for this one and hope that I don't get backlash out of it. I'd have to say the worst community I've ever seen is from those who play League of Legends. Now before I begin I would like to say that I enjoy that game. But I haven't played it in quite some time due to the heckling that I see whenever I join a match. I've seen people spend pretty much the entire round doing nothing but insulting teammates on how much they suck all the while scoring last on the charts. And what strikes me is this isn't a recent development, it was like that the first day of Beta (from what I observed).

The Half-Life 2: Episode Two forums have gotten pretty stale due to the lack of Episode Three info and the TF2 forums are a battleground of "THIS GUN IS OP, HURR!" or "THIS GUN IS UNDERPOWERED, HURRR!" and the like.

Worst though would probably be a CoD community, due to all those god damn brats.

Oh, and on the note of the first paragraph, what the fuck is it with all this My Little Pony bullshit? I see GUYS who have MYP avatars! Ponies are for 8-year-old girls! D-:<

Most sports sites have a bad community cause of all the different fans bashing other teams fans or in some cases fans of the same team (Crazy right). I don't know any other sites communities because I'm proud to say I only am a member of the escapist.

Youtube's a bad one for sure - I get daily "commented on your comment" messages because i said on a troll's video it was good he got banned...because a lot of people agreed with me and voted it to the top comment

League of Legends is pretty bad, you get people refusing to co-operate and just get abusive with the team or act stupid to screw your team over

WoW is bad too - I've just come back to it and my god I thought the community could be bad 5 years ago? Pretty much every dungeon/battleground/any social interaction gameplay I've done has someone bitching at someone, blaming people or just plain trolling

CoD games as well with all the boosters, kids and the "yeeeahh boooooooi we gunna rape yo fuls!!!" kind of idiots

I second this. They expect everything of Bioware, and unless they want to see one game every 10 years on 10 discs, they won't be able to have their expectations met.
