My big toe on my right foot was smashed open when I was very little when a can of food dropped on it.

I will say, that full body aches caused by a flu or fever are pretty awful, every part of your body hurts, you can barely move, probably have chills.I had one earlier this summer, since it was the first time I had been that ill in a few years it really screwed me up for a while.

Hard to say.
Probably the worst was falling and cutting my knee way open on some broken glass at a creek. I was screaming at the absolute top of my lungs, but I don;t actually remember feeling much pain. I think my endorphins were in overdrive and blocked out most of it. Still, it looked like it would have really hurt. I was actually gushing blood from my knee, you could see the insides too. D :

Falling in love and traveling half way across the world for someone, only to find out on the other side that she had a boyfriend.
That betrayal cut deeper than any physical pain ive had to endure.

When I had my tonsils removed I woke up screaming, and that's the only time I recall screaming from pain so that must be it. I had it done in Mexico I guess because we were poor and happened to be in Mexico.

I was at the dentist. I wasn't sure, but I thought that painkiller syringe they shove in your mouth before they do any drilling would cost extra and be more hassle than it was worth, and decided that I'd try without it.

It was about two minutes of agony in that tooth. The drilling pain just went right through the skull, and I really had to hold my hands tightly knit around the armrests to not whack the horrid thing away. It was over before I knew it, though, and the pain was well gone before I stepped out on the street again. Bzz, bzz, aaaaaaaaaaahaaahhh... Rinse and we're done. Awfully tame compared to actual pain, though. I'm probably immensively lucky that's been the worst.

Most of the times when i've been fairly badly hurt, my body has usually blocked off the pain long enough for something to be done about it.

Back when I was in daycare, the people working there used to say that if I ever cried or screamed, then there was a good chance that they had to take me to my doctor.

When I was about 7 or 8 (I think) I recieved an open head wound while riding my motocross bike. The doctor used too thich a thread in an attempt to close it up. He eventually had to use some glue to close the wound. Luckely I don't remember anything other than the crash and the trip to the hospital.

I aparently broke my little finger at some point, but it wasn't untill a doctor mentionend it (while sowing my hand together) that I realise it.

I think the most pain I have been in, was one time when the median nerve (or atleast the part that is in my hand) got terribly strained while I was working. It took several weeks before I could properly use the hand again.

Well, two or three months ago I would've said it was when I dislocated my knee in high school. When they pulled it back in the socket, I felt it even through the narcotics and being half-conscious in shock.

But then that happened.

And let me tell you, if I never feel that kind of pain again, it'll be too soon. Literally the only time in my entire life that I've been in so much pain that I threw up. And I didn't even have a bad one; It passed in about three hours. And of course, now I'm going to be forever worrying about recurrences of new ones.

I've been in loads of fights, fractured my foot, torn ligaments, even cut open the top of my finger when I was 9 with a pair of safety scissors by accident (somehow).

But physical pain never compares to that heart nailing pain you feel when the love of your life crushes your heart out of nowhere, and then stomps their feet on it on the way out. Depression and attempts followed. Bad times.

I'm over it now, but I never want to go to that place again.

It was after my sexual assault. I really couldn't tell you which was worse, the emotional or the physical.

Physically, I felt like I had been ripped open and it hurt to move and take showers. I had some pretty big open scars on my hands and around my jaw line from where the guy tried to cut me and those hurt a lot. Moving my face caused them to stretch and sting. My hands and forearms weren't as bad in the pain department. It was showering that was the worst.

Emotionally, I felt pretty much dead. I was terrified, on edge, couldn't think. I was a mess. I couldn't stop shaking. Suicide was a constant thought. Not really a good time.
Emotional pain is worse in my opinion. Although I don't know you and I can't relate, I do know people who have suffered similarly to you. All I can say is, I'm sorry and I hope you're okay.

Tooth ache in one of my back teeth. Had a hole in the middle of it, and it was infected. Of course, being the wise person I am, I didn't see a dentist about it for ages. Then it just started hurting so fucking much, I couldn't sleep because of it. Thankfully, I could get an appointment in like a week, so I didn't have to wait long to get the fucker removed. Now, I brush my teeth religiously every morning since. I never want to experience that shit again.

I'm very tempted to say the worst pain I've felt is when I was having gall stone problems. It certainly did suck when I'd have attacks however, I think my motorcycle accident has supplanted that. Massive bruising from the waist down, fractured left clavicle, and a broken right wrist. It didn't seem that bad at first but about 3 hours after I could barely stand, let alone walk. Part of that was because I hurt my hip. Though it wasn't serious, it did cause problems for a while. Hell, even after I was "healed" my hip acted up in vegas due to me not having walked much. Two days after the accident I had to get up early to have surgery on my wrist and it took me a good 30 minutes to get out of my bed because I was in so much pain. Overall, not a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend not doing it.

The most recent thing that comes to mind is when my sinuses ruptured as my plane was landing. I'd just recovered from a cold, but not enough apparently, and though my ears were fine it was impossible for my sinuses to equalize. I found out from this that you have sinus cavities near your eyes, and that when they're under pressure like this it feels like that scene in the beginning of the original Total Recall. At the time I had no idea what was going on and was wondering if there was something I should be doing to avoid going blind/having a stroke.

Living in Hawaii a few years back I got bit by this while sleeping.

The following 7 days, it felt like my leg was being boiled down and my bones being liquified from the inside out. Nothing worked to ease the pain,

I burnt my leg once, and let me just tell you that burns hurt just as much as you hear. Luckily it was just my leg and I fully healed but I would not wish a burning on my worst enemy.

Seriously, fire is scary. Very, very scary.
