A year into the relationship...
Oh, touché.

One from experience, a park bench. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if I remember going to sleep on it in the first place. But I didn't and I didn't remember where I was. Fortunately, I found a train station nearby so all was well. Thinking about becoming teetotal.
I'll take the park bench, man, any day. What I've got is the relationship......
Ha. I'd take the relationship. Can't stand being single and the girl I have a thing with at the moment will be all over me one day and barely talk to me the next. Her friends told me she's interested, sounds so high school I know. You know how it is I'm sure.
But yeah, if you don't want be with him (?) then don't be. You'll only end up hurting yourself by lying.
Oh, my friend, I was hoping to be with him. However, that situation you describe sounds all too horribly familiar. Yes, I certainly do know how it is. It's weirder this week than it was last week. :(

But surely you wouldn't wake up? You'd have gone to sleep forever?

If I woke up anywhere other than my bedroom, I'd freak out.

I've woken up about 300 Km from where I was living while I was in Switzerland. Needless to say, that was an interesting trip back home.

3 scenarios:

1. Waking up in your bed, 6.30 AM, 2nd of febuary... Just like you did yesterday..?

2. Waking up in your bed, realizing that the entirety of your life has been wasted on carrering a job you hate, that you are, despite being a 37 yo, still unmarried (or virgin, to add insult to injury), that you don't have any friends and that you dire wishes for everything to be alright have not been heard.

3. Waking up in a room much unlike your own, with rough sheets covering your body, and a medival set of clothes lying on a chair next to you. Together with a sword. And then, a knock on the door, two guys you don't know barge in and asks if you want to go slay dragons.

I once woke up in a random laundry room in a building I'd never been in before. Some dude nudged me awake with his foot and told me it was probably time to go home. My wallet was missing and I was covered in grass and dirt. My gf was pissed right off and I had to deal with the worst hangover of my life. Ahh, good times.

Please tell me you were living in Scotland at the time of this?

Yes, but Scotland's mornings are wet windy, dim, uninhabited and fucking freezing.

Probably been done but:

1. Waking up to the five minute warning in an exam you didn't realize you were asleep in.
2. Behind the wheel of a moving car.
3. In a surgical operating theater.
4. At your childhood home, in your childhood, because everything that you thought has happened since then was a dream. Now brush your teeth and go to school.
