EVERY RAP SONG EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a horrible genre that NEEDS TO DIE!!!!!

The same with pop music
Go listen to the flobots or some songs with decent rapping.

What's with all the new BEP, lady gaga, dizzee rascal and la roux hate? As someone said before, these tunes are pretty mint on the dancefloor. A night isn't complete without listening to one of these tunes with the bass turned up to 11. Easy lyrics and good beats. The la roux song in for the kill dubstep remix is ideal for most clubs etc, it's an easy crowd pleaser.
By the way la roux is a group, not a person.

In regards to the topic I'd have to say the albums resistance by Muse and 21st century breakdown by greenday. Don't get me wrong there were so many other songs and albums worse, but these two were just the two biggest let downs. I fucking love Muse and loved old greenday stuff. The new Muse just didn't seem to deliver in any way at all, it just didn't live up to the hype it was producing for me.

I wish I was as cool as you guys who hate everything that's popular.

So yeah, Beyonce. I find her massively overrated in general (and she has the most terrifyingly obsessive fans who are willing to fight to the death if you say a single bad word about her), to be honest I could choose any one of the singles she's released this year... or even last year, since they apparently continued to chart well into this year. If you're making me choose one song, 'Halo' is approximately the most lifeless and brain-numbing song I've heard in many years.

I think it's fair to say that I haven't really paid a lot of attention to what's been out. Hell, one of my favourite bands (Alexisonfire) released a new album in June and I only found out a couple of weeks ago. If it wasn't for my old housemate playing it, I wouldn't know about the Beyonce stuff either.

I can't help commenting on Lady Gaga while I'm here. I don't really have much of a problem with her music. It's alright, nothing spectacular, easily avoided. My problem with her is, well, her. I've never seen someone so achingly desperate for attention that they'd wear a costume made up of sewn-together Kermit dolls. My inner therapist wonders what happened to her as a child to make her become such a mess.

This thread has restored my faith in humanity. Thank you!

As for my answer... every pop song or song that has played more than five times a day on normal radio. Lady GaGa for instance.
Wish this was the sixties... the pop music was mostly good back then. And some of the radios played wonderful music.
Watch "The Boat That Rocked" and you will see :D

Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow And to think that I was excited for the Black Eyed Peas to return.
I was forced to listen to this song on repeat during the holidays by my friend's little sister and it makes me want to kill things. It's the Fergie bit that winds me up; I had to ask aforementioned sister what the hell "I'm so 2008, you're so 2000-and-late" was supposed to mean, and even when I knew my response was "BUT THAT MAKES NO SENSE".
She says you're so 2008, I'm so 3000 and late. Not sure if that changes any of your views on this song...but...Y'know.

This thread has destroyed my faith in humanity. Damn you!

I like like half of the songs people here are whining about. But then again, I have the awesome talent of loving all kinds of music. So one day I'm listening to Trance, the next day I'm off listening to melodic death metal and the day after that I'm listening to remixes of video game songs I downloaded off Newgrounds.

I love both BEP songs that have appeared in this thread, I love Number one, Starstrukk and most songs by Lady Gaga, although I would probably rather stick my disco stick in a furnace rather than let her ride it (unless of course she had a paper bag over her head, she has a fantastic body....I'm a little off topic here ain't I?)

But I will say this, I absolutely hate that f-in "I'm in Miami" song. DAMN.

Ahemangrynerdrantinbound.

Let's start with the winners of the shite awards.

Anything off of Disney channel
Anything that had some form of rap in it
Anything that claimed to be rock.
Anything aired on the radio.
Anything that topped the charts.

I could go on a 30 minute rant, however doing so would annoy me and last time I did so I was prohibition'd.

Love Story by Taylor Swift. So many parts of the play were messed up in it(mostly the double suicide, but other things as well). Yeah, that's not really a good reason so how about this one: Whenever it starts playing, my sister raises the volume then sings along louder than the actual song.
Will you be making a best song thread as well, or should I?
Edit: Oh yeah, I said it before (in another thread) and I'll say it again. There is a good rap song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0LoHA_FPAs&feature=related

What? No more takers? In about a week the actual battles get under way and we need 32 nominees! So let's band together!

Cobra Starship - Good Girls Go Bad AGH! This song is irritating shit. Yet randomly pops in my head at any given point in time! It makes me curl up in the fetul position.
