No, sorry. Probably Pandemic (?) messing up that new Lotr game.
Conquest? The demo's fun.
The game is too. It's not Battlefront and people need to get that through their heads. If you want Battlefront, play Battlefront. If you want a more complex version of Dynasty Warriors with a spawning system, play Conquest.
that makes me wonder "how many dynasty warrior games(including spinoffs)are there"
....also the demo for conquest is ok..

*points at Star Wars Force Unleashed, at least the parts not involving Darth Vader*

Pretty much that.

A game developer's what has ever done to me? I think what you meant to type was, "The worst thing a game developer has ever done to you?" because adding 's at the end does not make it a contraction so much as implies possession.

Don't take it personally, I'm just cantankerous at the world today.

So, the worst thing a game developer has ever done to me? Heck, they do it all the time. They allow market influences to crush the soul out of their game, delivering a withered old clone on my plate which sickens me to even look at it, much less partake.

Curse them and their insatiable desire to put food on the table. Game developers need to operate out of alleys and subsist on rats so as to not let the man hurt the game quality.

I don't need to explain this one, do I?

SEGA
Anally violated Sonic and anything SEGA touches turns into horse manuer

EA
Purchasing Westwood Studios and completely dismantling them all - effectively killing the Command & Conquer franchaise forever. (Don't get me started on Generals. That game was nothing like the C&C classics.)

Rockstar
Releasing GTAIV for PC... MONTHS after the console version with piss-poor preformance.
I don't care a bloody thing about it being "future-proof". The game is an abomination and the developers are bringing PC gaming to shame for it.

Volition Inc
See above. Substitute 'GTA IV' with 'Saints Row 2'.

TEAM 17
Choosing to go 3D with their most beloved and infamous franchaise; Worms effectively killing the series - And no, Worms on the NDS is not good enough to make up for it.

Crapcom
Not releasing one single darn good fighting game since Marvel vs Capcom 2/SFIII.
(Hopefully SFIV will change this)
I hated that Capcom Fighting Junk and the stuff vs Vampire Chronicles is laughable.

When Volition released Red Faction 2 it made the story and setting have absolutely nothing to do with my beloved original. That one still stings. Blizzard never actually releasing Starcraft:Ghost is a close second.

I think Bungie pulled one hell of a dick move by having the official stratagy guide for Halo 3 purposely not telling you where the skulls are, which is probably the main reason why most people bought the damn thing. You don't expect that kind of treatment when you forked out about half of the value of the original game for it.

Great point about Worms; no one talks about that game (series) anymore. It had simple gameplay that never got old, ridiculously over-the-top weapons, some of the best customization in a game ("WHAT ARE YOU UP TO SOLDIER?" -Drill Sergeant), and multiplayer!

Actually, for an adamant CnC fan, Generals was completely off-base, but I really enjoyed CnC3's story, and Kane's Wrath could have been better, but that's not to say it was bad. Many games in the Global Conquest mode have I endured.

God damn, Kane's goading of the Ion Cannon at Temple Prime was fucking brilliant.

And everything else you said is pretty much on the mark, too.

Atari - Alone in the Dark - 360

Glad I could fork out 60 frickin bucks to help test it for them. I'd really hate to see them have to pay a proffesional to do it. Although the way alot of games have been coming out half finished I am beginning to wonder if proffesional game testers have gone the way of the Dodo. To bad for all my efforts they still couldn't get the critics to score it high.

Ubisoft putting gun jams in Far Cry 2, they're not realistic, just annoying and it happens right when you're shooting a guy with a shotgun a point blank range

I feel a strong affinity towards Zoey. And that makes sense. She's a nerdy college student who likes zombies. I'm a nerdy college student who likes zombies. She even looks kinda like me.
Its just when Valve takes this character, places her in an extremely awesome game, and then adds Smokers, the result are comments of horny fanboys that kinda break my brain.

Whoever invented the first Quick-Time Event. I'm not saying I hate them, but the success of pushing buttons in sequence just opened the floodgates to this immense horde of games featuring mind-numbingly tedious QTEs.

Meh, go to Africa, roll around in the muck, and try to fire an AR-15. We'll see how you do.

Every game you will ever play or have ever played is made up entirely of quick time events. A select few are just gracious enough to sometimes tell you what button to press.

Not true. Quick-Time Events restrict you or severely punish you from pressing any other button than the one that appears onscreen.
