Shadow of the Colossus - Having to actually FIND the colossus you needed to kill. That little sword beam was annoying to follow at times.

Dead Space - Ineffective melee/curbstomp attacks.

Final Fantasy Franchise - The fact that there hasn't been a good game since X and square enix has gotten into the habit of just slapping the FF title on any crappy spin off they make.

Call of Duty 4 - Martyrdom and the juggernaut/last stand combo.

Lost Odyssey - Embarrassing dialogue.

Onimusha - Having to play as Kaede(think that was her name).
Onimusha 2 - Not having Samanosuke as the main character >:|

Guess that's enough for now.

Oh, I almost forgot:

Devil May Cry 4 - having the second half of the game be a mirror of the first. Not even playing as Dante makes up for it.

It's not hard to figure out my favourite game. Well my biggest issue with FFVII was with the PC port. Updated and refined graphics were nice (though they still somehow didn't manage to catch the "this guy are sick" line), but the music was reduced to lower-quality midi files. I mean, you didn't even get the synthesized latin choir in One-Winged Angel. It also had a bit more bugs than the original PSX version. It was nice having the game on my computer, but I'd choose the PSX version over it any day.

I've also heard there was a game-ending glitch with the save crystal in the Norther Cave, but I never ran into it.

Tsukihime: The sex scenes could have been better written. I manage to ignore them in favor of the lovely music and my own imagination, but reading them outside the game itself is an exercise in hilarity.

Fate/Stay Night: See above, though the scenes are better written...except one, which was written, strangely, too realistically. Also, the idea of seeing all the Bad Ends to unlock hidden scenes has cause undue wear-and-tear on my soul. I'll eventually be emailing my therapy bills to Kinoko Nasu.

Tales of Symphonia: Genis has a really grating voice at times. The voice acting is for the most part mediocre, though exposure to Baten Kaitos already desensitized me. Also, hindsight. There are several aspects of later games (controllable overlimit, free-running, more intuitive item synthesis) that I wish were in it.

Fallout 3: The programmers are probably being paid in peas and tissue paper, because the game has more bugs than most rainforests. The patches just break other things.

The PC port of Chaos Legion was shameful and the disc was too hard to get out the case.

Gunstar Heroes was tainted by an awful sequel.

Saints Row 2 had an ending, I wanted it to go on forever!

Radiata Stories, it's pretty obvious they had to rush the game in the second half. The story goes by to quickly, and isn't fleshed out nearly as well as the beginning of the game, and it doesn't have multiplayer, which would be so perfect in that game. It would be like a Tales of game, only with 177 characters to choose from.

Half Life 2 - The Route Kanal level was and still is a particularly poor one for me - and it's the first one, no less. Took me a few weeks to actually get into the game proper thanks to that
In addition, in a problem I assume is to do with Vista, the AI keeps turning off.

Left 4 Dead - due to its team-based nature, versus matches are VERY hit and miss. If the zombie team aren't willing to co operate, you've got grim future of being quickly shot down ahead of you

Abe's Oddysee - I know pretty much by heart where all 99 of the Mudokons are, I've extracted every last ounce of challenge that game has! I need to get me hands on Exoddus

Fallout 3 - my xbox RRODed before I could get into it, and my PC is havin' some real problems, but the couple of hours I have been able to play have been awesome

World of Warcraft - Thanks to the fact that I play with friends, most of the game's "grind" is largely subverted, all that remains now is the relative hassle of getting everyone to show up for raids on time!

Fable 2 was crimially short with actually bvery little to do after the main story ( despite its tooltips saying theres lots). fantastuic game, but was actively dissapointed with how little there was to do after the main story.
A general one for all games: Unskippable tutorials ....oh god FF VIII was especially bad at that, lets have a 15 min junctioning tutorial, 'cos that will be fun for the third time!

no uber sequel to Titan Quest. and that the sequel to dawn of war: soulstorm sucked balls.

also, several races in Dawn of War: soulstorm is alot better than others. for example the Necrons and the sisters of battle.

If need be get a psx emulator and run your FFVII games on your computer/laptop.

The last two Silent Hill games were very, very bad woth a plot that doesn't even come close to fan fiction (and this comes from someone who liked 'The Room'). I would have played through Homecoming, but not being able to invert the camera is a killer flaw. Tossed it in the hotel level.

Sly Cooper 3 had a very disappointing ending. They should make a mix of the first two.

Every damn forced vehicle section in Ratchet, Jak, Sly and other Jump & Run games you have to succeed in to continue the story. I HATE, HATE, HATE them.

Well, I love Chrono Cross for its storyline and the in depth themes it covers. However, it saddens me with some of its silliness (like the retarded pink dog)

With Oblivion, I love how much you customize your character, and the huge expansive world, but your computer has to be just a step lower than God to run it properly.
