There is a good type of troll. Anyone remember a little something called "Half-life: Full Life Consequences"? It's one of the most beloved "so bad it's good" fan fictions ever written, it's most popular incarnation being a very well-made Machinima. It's technically a "troll fic" but it was written for laughs. That kind of "troll", the kind that spark laughs, could be technically called "good". Also, the Retsupurae guys and that guy who used to do Ventrilo Harassment might technically be called trolls but they are funny as hell.canadamus_prime said:
I would say that The Belief Driven Troll are the worse (especially those guys for whom Encyclopedia Dramatica isn't just a website but their freaking *Bible*) but I think the worse are the ones who *have* no purpose to their trolling. Some trolls just do it for minor teasing and most of us, often times the victims themselves, can have a good hearty laugh about it. Some of them target people who probably *deserve* trolling and the rest of us gets a laugh about it. Others target terrorist groups or pedophiles...these people are heroes in my book. And, unfortunately, you have some who believe everything they think and feel are the one true way to happiness and try to shove it down our throats. But at least they believe in *something*.
No...no, the worse, at least in my opinion, are those who *have* no beliefs. They're like the Heath Ledger Joker; they have no goal, they just want to see the world burn...and I suspect that for some of them, flame wars are a substitute for murder or arson. Those are the worse.

The ones that don't exist and troll just on the internet but in real life.
There's this kid in my games media classes at collage who complains and is against everything the tutor says that he can relate too. He never shuts up and has a revolting sounding voice and actually looks like he's crawled out from under a bridge. It took me 5 minutes if not that in the same room as him to utterly detest the strange creature and I've been on said course for half the collage year now.

I don't really have a least favorite, they pretty much all suck.
