Yus! she's the definition of an entitled *****... nothing about her character is likeable in the slightest... and her entire backstory is "My father made me perfect, so I stole my infant sister, against her will, and ran away, across the galaxies, to join a terrorist group..." there's literlly no reason to give her any amount of sympathy in ME2 and barely any in ME3... Seeing as how Bioware went out of their way to make her dad cartoonishly evil, just to try and Salvage this terrible character that everyone put up with just at a chance to see her naked...<.<

I see videos of gameplay from the recent Sonic games, and every time the rad-awesome-dude little shit opens his mouth I want to throw him into a dimension where there is only suffering. It's not so much the horrible lame-in-the-90s dialogue, or the fact that the voice-"actor" seems to get paid based on how much he can make players cringe, but the fact that of all the horrible, horrible characters in the bloated corpse of the Sonic games he is king, and nobody dare tell the king to shut his trap.

As anyone knows, there are many choices for this category, but one stands above all else for me.

I hate Kratos. I hate him with such a passion, it hurts. This man is willing to destroy the entire world with a temper tantrum, which is generally what all the games are. Not to mention, everyone thinks he's SO BADASS!!! just because he goes off and kills everything that he sees, without even realizing he's being played, and because he somehow manages to fuck every girl he sees. Without a doubt, I think he's the worst character ever.

Being a huge fan of the God of War series, you might just scroll over my post right now, but I think why people, or rather why I like Kratos so much is because he is the epitome of manliness. All of his betrayals were painfully obvious, but he makes it a very good point that, you fuck with him, you will get brutally fucking murdered, which is why he kinda gets away with being a tool for whoever manages to use him in my opinion (even though as the player I have to constantly clean up the mess he leaves behind as a result). He bloody well killed gods bro....GODS, he made the entirety of Mt. Olympus his ***** after getting played. And I'm not sure if it was intentionl or not, but him being easily manipulable kinda makes sense, Spartans were a brutal race of army men who decimated with their strength, but might not have been too bright (I'm not entirely sure how intelligent Spartans were on average). Though I do wholly agree that him getting it on with women at random points in all of the games is silly and awkward, again it comes down to Spartans being a great symbol of strength and manliness, and also the fact that back then, giving birth to a boy eventually meant (most of the time) another man for the army, which would possibly introduce honour into ones family. Ultimately I think I admire him because he would destroy the entire fucking planet for his vengeance, witnessing the full extent of ones wrath is something I oddly enjoy. Sorry for the long post -.-

I figured that at least some people like him, that's why the game series lasted for so (too) long. ;3 But anyway, I know that the average Spartan was quite intelligent, as their kind invented Laconic whit, and a lot of them were quite great at being the snarker. To me, I don't see it being very realistic that a demi-god somehow can kill everything. And no offense, but I just don't see him as being that manly, just because he can throw a temper tantrum that can level a city or kills anyone that says he makes bad cupcakes (horrific generalization, I know). When it comes to the sex thing, I don't really think it fits the character of a man who was grieving his family (the whole damn reason for the first game) to drop trough for anything with a vag. Indeed, in my opinion the series really should have ended with the God of War 3 (but because I like the combat I'll probably still buy the other games too -.-). I was thinking that the Spartans were probably quite smart considering tactics and things. A demigod killing Normal Gods can somewhat be justified by the powers he gained in his journeys I guess. He DID gather quite alot of tools from quite alot of mythological creatures. I think the point was he rose above his Demigod status and dominated Gods and Titans alike. Same thing with actually killing gods, doing something thought impossible.

When it comes to the sex thing, I don't really think it fits the character of a man who was grieving his family (the whole damn reason for the first game) to drop trough for anything with a vag.

Hahah, I remember thinking something similar when I played those games now that I think about it. Though it COULD be said he did it to maybe drown out the memory and forget, but that could be countered with the idea of making him feel even more guilt. Different things work in different ways for some people I guess.

I guess I just understand his depression more, because when someone (namely me) becomes deeply depressed, you either want to destroy everything, or just have it disappear into nothing along with yourself. Though of course depression is experienced differently within every individual so that can't be said for everyone.

Probably what I actually admire about Kratos (and think is manly) is he says or thinks he will do something and he will DO IT. Kratos wants Mt. Olympus and all of it's Gods destroyed? HE WILL DO IT, and he will DO IT GOOD...or maybe do it bad, BUT DO IT NEVERTHELESS. Blinded by hatred and rage as he is.
