I can not repeat this enough: Dungeon Lords. The plot is stupid and even in its simplicity it's riddled with holes, the combat is incredible dull and STIFF, you literally have to be an in-game ninja to keep the fights moving in any other direction than you and the enemy standing in front of eachother and whacking yourselves with sharp objects or a colorful array of damage spells ranging from Generic Fireball orange to Generic Energy Ball yellow to Generic Ball of Ice blue until one of you runs out of health potions, which'll most likly be your enemies since you get at least 5 litres worth of health from each encounter, not to mention the crystal of self-ressurection you get at the end of the very first chapter, which allows to come back to life after you die without any penalties, oh and did I mention the horrible voice actors, the completely uninspired level designs and graphics, the fact that there's a character stat that has absolutely no purpose to the gameplay other than being a requirement to level up to a different class and not being adressed as "newbie" by every single shop keeper NPC in the game yet at all?

Seriously, this game is the plague. It's torture. It won't even let you die, just to keep you subjecting yourself to it.

The Pokemon game that you had to take pictures or any JRPG.
i <3 Pokemon Snap - It was awesome.

I hated force unleashed, But i also find Star trek legacy & battlestations midway awful.

Force Unleashed & Fable series games are annoying, just because we were promised things that werent delivered.

Can't remember the name, but it was a game set in an alternate timeline (in about 1950) when WWII didn't end, and America gets invaded by the Nazis. You play as a builder, its was awful, it only played two or three levels.

Carnival Games for the Wii. I was young and naive! It really was terrible.

Worst thing was, it was a present, so I had to play it and pretend to enjoy it... *shudder*

I've played alot of shitty games in my life. Most of them were on the Sony PlayStation, others for GBC or NES. Let me start of with a game for the PlayStation called Fluid.

Fluid is based around.. uh, not really sure about that, but you play as a dolphin collecting notes. That's about as far as I got without getting eyestrain from the huge pixels and everything being blue. I never understood the point of this game, its repetetive, the controls suck, its pointless and repetetive. Well, enough about that game. Let's move on to the next.

I can't remember the name for this game, all I remember is that it was one of the shittiest games I've ever played. You play as an armored spider with rocket launchers and machine guns attached to your body. I know, this sound awesome but that's the problem with this game. It sounds awesome, but it is infact a PIECE OF SHIT! Anyway let me tell you a bit about the story. You play as a spider in various rooms around the house. The goal is to get to the end of the level and kill some enemy spiders along the way. But be careful not to fall to the ground, because you'll die. And you will die. ALOT. I got to about level 6 or 7 before I smashed this god forsaken game into smithereens!

Now to a game for the GBC, Lego Alpha Squad. Me and my brother saw the commercial on TV and we shit our pants. It looked awesome! Kicking down doors to smash enemies, jumping and shooting lasers and whatnot. So we got the game for christmas and we were so excited we started playing instantly. About 10 minutes later our parents found us crying in our room because the game was so bad. I advise you to check it out on YouTube or something, that way you can understand our grief. But I took it like a man and played it through, only to find the most anti-climatic ending in any game. Well maybe not as bad as Ghostbusters for the NES but almost.

Now for something completely different, Silver Surfer for the NES! Silver Surfer, being the one of the most powerful heroe in the Marvel Universe, is being portayed as a big walking pussy in this game. If you touch ANYTHING, you die. If you get hit ONCE, you die. And everytime you die, a sad pathetic picture of Silver Surfer kneeling in defeat is displayed. EVERY DAMN TIME! This game's difficulty isnt bad, its not hard either. It's impossible! I dare you to play it.

Don't get me wrong guys, and girls, those were some pretty shitty games. But none of them even come close to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This game is the icing on the poop cake. I wont even go into detail on this game, because I cant get further then like 3 minutes. If someone with a bit more experience can fill in, I would be grateful.

Well, that was my 2cents. Any spelling or gramatic problem I blame on english not being my "main language" so to speak.

Area 51 on Xbox 360, it looked so good in the trailers, but the real thing was complete garbage, but I guess I can't really complain since I only paid like five bucks for it.

Superman 64. It was on an emulator, but damn. I couldn't even get past the first level, it was so bad.

Really it took 27 post to reach Superman 64.

I was like, I downloaded it as a rom to see if it was as bad as everyone said it was.
[sub]It was far worse than I could imagine[/sub]

I might have to agree here, but other than that, i would say...Damnation...i couldn't even sit through the first act..only about 2 chapters..if that ((I was like Yahtzee on Alone In The Dark to where i had to save a scientist and i simply went "no...YOU might have to save him, but this makes no sense and he was an annoying pr*ck anyways.")) i sold it the day after i got it, cuz i got it at about 10 pm..Onechanbara, which i couldn't even sit throguh 2 levels, sold this the same day actually...and Fracture...Fracture had a semi-okay idea which was horrendously executed.....epic fail on the part of Lucas Arts...other than these, i dunno i'd have to think about it

oh yeah, Hour of Victory..fu** that game with something hard and sandpapery

Farcry 2. that game was just so goddamn hard!
Played Far Cry 1? 5 difficulty settings. Easy (normal), Medium (tough), Challenging (hard), Hard (insane) and Realistic (sadistic). I still love it though, one of my favourite games ever.
Oh, and I agree with whoever said Shadow the Hedgehog sucked. I pre-ordered it because the hype made it look at least decent. Yuck.

Definitely "Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom". No story at all, only one combo, ridiculous settings, nowhere to go. Just crap. And a big disappointment, since "Kingdom under Fire: The Crusaders" was very good.

In my life ive played some good games and some bad but the worst would probally have to be fallout 1 for these reason the graphics are bad the quest i think are scetchy (but i didnt play the game that long because of the quest)
>:O
You have disappointed me. You think that an AMAZING game, which was successful enough to create many sequels, although a little old,(hence the graphics) is the worst you have ever played?

And why do so many people think Too Human is terrible? Sure, it had some things wrong with it, but it wasn't SO bad.

And I don't know why everyone was expecting a great shooter/action game from ALONE IN THE DARK. I was expecting a decent puzzle game with bits of action, and got more than what I expected.

Super Man 64 makes me want to kill myself. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get past the first level! I, sadly, owned the actual game on N64. It may have been my worst game, but, no...I'll tell you what it is...

Star Fox: Adventures
Well, it's not necessarily the worst game, that's Super Man 64, but it was killed by expectations in the way that Alone in the Dark was. Except even worse because it was from a series of good games.

Edit:

In contrast, my favorite terrible game is Oregon Trail for the Apple computer, just because it's so fun to watch your closest friends die while trying to ford a river at a grueling pace with no food.
Oh, yes, that's very true. No one actually wants to beat that game. They just play it to kill everyone they hate.

On topic.

FarCry 2 wasn't that bad. Neither was Crysis. In fact, Crysis was much better than FarCry 2. That's a statement of the obvious. I refuse to elaborate.

I also really like TimeShift and more people need to play it on Xbox Live.

More terrible games:
Castlevania 2. WOW that game was bad.

Hey, You Pikachu or whatever. That microphone DID NOT work. Come here Pikachu. No, HERE. God damnit, don't pick that up. Drop. DROP! DROP THAT NOW!
*Pikachu uses object*
Kill yourself, Pikachu.
And I have to deal with an insane dog...Pikachu was WAY worse than that.
"Go left. Left. Leeeeft."
*Pikachu moves forward*

Praetorians for the PC.

Has anyone ever read that Penny Arcade comic where there's a guy wanting to swim in a pool that represents Mass Effect, but a dev pushes him into the metaphorical pool before he has a chance to work out what to do?

This was a lot like that, except it was an RTT, and you could do all sorts of shit with the terrain. Like build bridges (I think) and all.

Only problem was, after an incredibly unhelpful tutorial, the game expects and demands full knowledge of all these things you can do and leaves you to it.

It's like, an asshole in video game form.

That being said, it was well made apart from the whole "DO THIS. DO THAT. GOD! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? I SHOWED YOU ALL THIS IN THE TUTORIAL." thing, and not really all that bad.

I guess I haven't had the misfortune of playing a lot of bad games.

Final Fantasy XII. It took everything good about Final Fantasy, an interesting story, engaging characters and a genuinely fun battle system and threw it all away. I can honestly say I had no fun with it and am ashamed to own it.
