Yes because graphics make the game. And the community on my server is generally quite friendly towards new players. If you don't like MMOs then they're not your type of game. That's fair enough. But don't go putting them down for stupid reasons.
I said graphics make the game? I'm sorry, I don't recall typing that. However, if you honestly can tell me that you wouldn't care if your game could be made to look nicer, assuming it could without changing the game in any other way, you're either lying or insane. I play Quake 2, not exactly high-end graphics, but I still use the graphic/shader improvement mods, for the reason above.
Oh, and I'm sure the community is nice... if you aren't new.
I don't really care either way, you can play what you like, but I've experienced WoW before, and no amount of lame excuses will change my opinion of it: a dull, outdated game, that is somehow addictive for some people. I'm not a MMO fan, but I don't dislike them all. Only the ones that I played and found underwhelming.
