I thought there was a 'full length' version somewhere...

I like it, but I miss when he first started here and picked popular songs that fit the video.
There is...at the end of the Call of Juarez review

I like it but I miss when he would use different songs for the opener. Stupid copyright laws.

The theme song is fine but that deal with the writing the Escapist "e" with the squeaky marker.. makes me shudder every time. I really hate that noise

I miss the frontload and backload music that tied into the review, the new theme is just...well boring, i figured crowshaw petitioned for the music because he knew he'd need to recycle old songs one day.

It's probably because I can play it on drums and (6 string) guitar but I think it's rather good like how metal should sound. All it needs now is a D power chord progression and you'll be set.

I prefered it when he had a thematic popular song at front and back. But as he said, copyright law and all that. Shame though as the new intro although not too bad is set far too loud and gets annoying.
What he said; I'm not a huge fan of the new intro.

It's definitely not bad; I just preferred the old way.

Thanks,
P.s Yahtzee is really quite rather brilliant.

*2 thumbs up*
... Subtle.
I wasn't the only one who picked up on that, then.

OT: I have downloaded the thing and it is on my iPod, but I don't think I find it quite as awesome as you do.

[sub]I preferred the ZP intros when they had actual commercial music, to be honest...[/sub]

Yeah, it's pretty cool I guess. I mean, I don't find anything wrong about it. Same as most theme song I suppose.

It is pretty good, the full length version in particular. But I preferred it when he picked different song choices that were relevant to the review. Like Bioshock's Octopus's Garden(Beatles)/I can't decide(Scissor Sisters) intro/outro. It just makes you smile even more.

I like it. It certainly does what it's supposed to do, meaning get stuck in your head and be iconic and punchy.

SwollenGoat, check out Call of Juarez its got the full theme at the end of it.

Does anybody know the EXACT time he changed the popular songs to the theme song?
I think it was 32 minutes and 40 seconds past 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

In all seriousness I think the first video to use the new theme song was the lego Indiana Jones one.
Which is too bad, because that a perfect opportunity to use the Indiana Jones theme. Probably wouldn't, though. Too easy. Probably would have used, like, "Pieces of Me" or some shit :D

i do like the theme music but like other people have said before the music he picked was funny and related to the game in some way which i though was better but still that was only like 5% of the show the other 95% is still there

I prefer it when he took songs that gave relevance to the review for comedic effect, such as Hellogoodbye by the Beatles for his Halo 3 review
