I played I, II, V, VI, X and X-2 before VII, my all-time favorite.

I know it's not the best one, but it is without a doubt a comfort game for me without equal. I covet my copy with unthinkable loyalty.

Not really the first one i played was VII and i think that is on of the most overhyped game i ever played(plus a good hate towards Tifa).

I played VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2(very very short), XIII, IV and tactics. I still love VIII the most somehow.

Favorite was 6 but I gave up on them after 10.

Well, i guess it´s safe to say that this theory is losing credit by the minute lol, even though some seem to prefer their first Final Fantasy gaming experience.

True for me. FF7 was my first, back in 1997 and I didn't touch any other game from the moment I started it to the moment I finished it a month later. It was my first JRPG and I raved about how amazing it was to anyone that would listen for ages. It's still one of my most loved games.

I enjoyed FF8 for the most part, but I felt it lacked the exploration of FF7 and spent too much time on big set pieces in just a few locations. FF9 sadly didn't do it for me at all. I found the story incomprehensible and the characters uninvolving and never actually finished it. Since I never got around to upgrading to a PS2 that was the end of my interest in the series.

For me it was true. xD i loved FFX, and it was indeed my first one. If you don't count the demo of FF7, which is in close second.

FFX was the first... and it's my favorite. In fact I hate 8 and 12 but I love 7 and 9. Yet to try the early ones.

Nope, my first was Final Fantasy. My fav is Final Fantasy 6, introduced to me as 3.

Played several, im positive the first i played was FF1 or 2. FF6 is my favorite.

But my guess is that FF6 was the only one i played when i was good enough in english to actually understand what was going on... hence my favorite because of it?

I aslo never beated any FF game so far.

I think the only RPGs i beated was Disgaea, TAles of destiny 2 and Chrono Trigger.

My first FF was 4 and I hated it. My 10 year old logic hated the graphics. Sure, I find it a good Final Fantasy game now. However, 9 is my favorite.

The first Final Fantasy i played was Final Fantasy X. I've played Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy: Dissidia and Final Fantasy XIII (thats in order of playing them). Final Fantasy X remains my favourite one out of the ones i have played while Final Fantasy X-2 is the worst.

I wouldn't say Final Fantasy X is my favourite because it's the first one i played though. I really enjoyed all the other ones i have played (apart from X-2). I just enjoyed Final Fantasy X more than the rest of them.
