Hi all, minutes ago I had notice my rear fan wasn't spinning well it was nudging but couldn't spin all the way. I had turn it off and quickly clean it and turn it back on and it seen to be back to normal for the time being.
To be honest I think this could had been going on for a couple of months now (I only notice it today) since the last time I clean the inside (the start of April) it was abit dusty inside however the last clean up before April the interior was spotless.
While my mate (a tech type of guy) think it was an one off thing (like it got stuck) I think otherwise (well I could be paranoid right now).

Anyway the point of this topic is a precautionary one just in case the rear fan stop working again.

This is the current fan I using at the rear-

If the rear fan stop working again I will buy a new one, probably a different brand compared to the above link so I was wondering which fans would you recommend?

Before you ask why I spend on an expensive fan it was my uncle suggestion while my tech mate said I should of gotten a cheap one as the quality make no difference at they will always spin.

If you do got a fan recommendation, bare in mind I only do my computer component shopping at these two websites-

it does sound like it was just dirty, fans generally don't break unless you stick your finger in them or something.

does your computer even need a fan? most of the time the CPU fan, GFX card fan and PSU fan do a fine job of cooling a PC unless you have a GFX card without a fan like i used to.

and no it doesn't really matter what fan you get unless you want it to light up with pretty colours or something like that, just go as cheap as you want.

The rear fan just suck out the dust from inside the pc. The side (also the same brand as the rear) and the front (that came with the case) fans are still working. Otherwise I would have problem with it overheating.

Ok I just notice that the rear fan wasn't spinning again when I first turn the pc on this morning. I turn it off and on again and it took a few moment to start spinning (it wasn't spinning right away like it normally do).
Not sure if I should buy a new fan or not as the rear fan just get the interior dust out of the pc (suck out). Do you think this will matter when I start to get into proper gaming on the pc (like playing games like Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2)? Also granted I know turning the pc on and off for no good reason (unless it's an update) will effect my pc performance over a long period (that's one of the reasons why my old pc became crappy).

EDIT- Ok nevermind. It seen I am simply over reacting as my mate explain the rear fan isn't too important (as in my pc continue to work ok) and that if it stop spinning I gonna have to make it spin by hand.
