Wow, this is my first time seeing this series and that sure was...compelling.

To me it was by no means funny, I mean yeah someof those scenes were outrageous, but didn't make me laugh, but I sure as hell was entertained.

This is a dark comedy people, the only reason it is supposed to be funny is because it is the juxtaposition of a crime drama with nintendo characters. The story itself is to me taken seriously.

OT: I though it was brilliant, makes me upset it has taken me so long to finally watch it.

This series is pure fan-crack. Also: as someone familiar with the games etc it is based on, yet has NEVER, EVER, played any of them, it is still really wicked stuff. But I have one beef. As a side-effect of the 'amateur' production style, dialogue is often difficult to understand. The best possible thing that could happen to this series is a quality subtitle release, whether official or unoffficial. The ability to understand what is being said could be so easily enhanced. How about it, fans? Do a sub release? Anybody? Please?
