Meh, it's just filling another niche in the market. In a more optimistic light; it keeps twelve year-old girls whoring themselves out for 'coins' on Habbo Hotel. We need a few more games like these; some that keep kids young and innocent.

It's all the more fun when you spring Manhunt on them, then.

it didn't sound so stupid till i read ponystar blackjack.

no child is going to play blackjack at that age(tell me if you think anyone above the age of 12 will play this game and you'll be lying
I do think that people above the age of 12 will play. The game will be like paedophile heaven.
\

yes , but they won't be playing for the game.
But they will still be playing
no. they'll pretend to play so they can get little boys/girls to themselves.

Yeah. When I see a game called "My pony and me" I tend to think about other things...

I'm surprised Susan hasn't seen this yet.

Edit: I'm playing the game, and it is awesome.

Bella Sara has been out longer. And it incorporates the cards you buy in the stores into its online content rather like Neopets. And what's wrong with horses or ponies? I haven't heard anyone decrying Harvest Moon for having a horse, so what's the difference if it is a simulation dedicated to one type of animal? Isn't that what Nintendo Dogz and Catz and...Horsez were all about? This isn't new. Might be another game with the same theme but it is in no way new.

See for yourself:

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. It's just a bit "weird and WTF?" for us internet folk weaned on goblins and the like.

When I was about 7 I played Caeser's Palace on the PS1, so...

EDIT: and, actually, I managed to get the hang of it aswell.

I've played video games since Atari and Intellivision. And I'm telling you this isn't something "new" that suddenly burst on the scene. You just didn't notice it. Frankly, horse sims practically fit under the "monster raising sim" category. Same game, different flavor. But most of the horse sims I've seen do not have horse battles since the designers don't want flack for encouraging horse-fights, dog-fights, betta-fights, or what have you.

Oh my gosh, I looked up horse sim games and came up with a site dedicated to JUST them!
Here, I make my closing argument and rest my case:

http://whinny.org/simgames.htm

(I'm more of a swords and sorcery person myself but, hey, if it works it works. But Ponystars DOES look like it came right out of My Little Pony...did anyone ever tell them that dragon-horses should not even try to be made cute? And horses + lipstick is not a good idea...)

To be honest I know pony games exist, eg for the wii there is a huge variety. I was unaware of an MMORPG type thing until this one.....

Wow...and I thought MMOs were odd already. How thouroughly confusing. I may go and play this just for the sake of curiosity to be perfectly honest.
