When I first joined people were friendly and nice to me, they also kept telling me to stay out of the basement. I have yet to understand the meaning of that. For me a basement has never been something to fear or stay away from unless someone is a toddler. Growing up I had a room in the basement and also that is where my father kept the canned goods. So the basement should really not be something to fear unless The Escapist is a mean father that instead of having canned goods in the basement has something like jarred bads; also instead of having a room in the basement it would be a very bad place that you wouldn't wish to sleep in if you could.
So with that being said welcome to the Escapist and remember to obey the Law.

My first post I believe was welcomed with both anger and agreement, as are many of my posts as I tend to enjoy participating in arguments and the like.

Ah, yes. My first post. I remember that one cold, sad day, as I stood on the cliff side, watching the casket be lowered into the crashing sea. It was a darker time, but a more real one. Yes, 'twas an epic first post. I shall never forget it, nor the ship I posted it on.
