That has nothing to do with professional gamers. Professional gamers couldn't give a flying **** what someone's rank is as that is purely for people who want to show off how much time they have played the game.nicole1207 said:

CoD2 was the best of the CoD series. Once MW2 came out and because everyone was playing it, they were forced no matter how bad the game was to move to it as it attracts more competition then an old game.
Modern Warfare 2 is a lot worse then Modern Warfare but all the people needed to move because that's where the majority of the players went, and to attempt to make the game skilful they remove the things that make the game run & gun.
In professional gaming, the goal is to show how good you are. How does getting a death streak show how skilful you are.
IW are making CoD just for public players now. Instead of making a game bug free and good gameplay, they just add weapons, medals etc. As that makes people feel better once they get it.

I get the grenade launchers, they make the game easier if you use them, but think about it, if you get got by C4 or claymores, it's sort of your own fault for not checking properly. If they get you a lot, you can use your Perk 3 slot on the one that detects enemy equipment.

Actually, I've tried playing the game without items, boring as hell, If I wanted a generic beat 'em up I'd play Tekken, SSBB is chaotic, adding dozens of variables that make the game very fun to play. Dont forget the part where they cried and started complaining that shotguns, most perks, killstreaks, deathstreaks, several good guns and grenade launchers etc were all unfair, because they are practical and useful. Then they grew up and went "Pro" Or MLG, or rather, they make their parents pay $15 when they win a CoD game.
