That is pathetic.
That people are taking to the streets to make the world a better place?

Granted, its very foolish. But one can't help but admire the spirit in with this is being done.

Great, the comic book nerd population of Earth is going to be cut to ribbons once it becomes cool to dress up and confront violent street gangs. Fast food restaurants have a stake in this. If all their major repeat customers die, they will lose sales.[footnote]Is that a sterotype? Whoops! ;)[/footnote]

I wonder if throughout all of this, a real hero will be found. Probably not. All I know is that my gut says this will end with a few murders and people hurriedly ditching their costumes.

I really hope people don't waste their lives trying to live their fantasies. We have enough pointless deaths on this planet as it is.

It's kinda nice that people are trying to change the world for the better. Too bad they are just being stupid.

It's alright I guess.

I looked at one called "Red Arrow" and I have to admit, I laughed. A lot.

awesome. but yeah they have been around a good while. i remember a buddy from NYC telling me about them when i was little, although they sounded more like "pots and pan armor man" from above then actual heroes.
still i think more of this would be a good thing even at its worst. a little mod rule may do us good.

Charles Bronson in Death Wish 20: Batman.

Damn, nevermind. That joke sucks.
I can see Bronson doing a good job as a Rorschach-esque crime fighter....

Also, while I admire their enthusiasm....yeahh I wouldn't be surprised if this ends badly for most. Which it probably will.

No I definitely saw a G4 special several years ago, and I think that Dark Guardian was featured on it. He is supposedly well-trained in martial arts. In the special he was harrasing some drug dealer, saying "I know what you're doing, get the hell out of the park before i kick your ass". I just thought it'd be hilarious if the drug dealer suddenly pulled out a g-18 from his pants and wasted him with 10 or 15 rounds.

These people are wrong, doing what they do. It's the same as someone walking up to you and demanding your money. Just because they're doing it to specific people and doing it for a different reason doesn't mean the end result is the same: random tough guys stalking the streets , trying to intimidate other people for the feeling it gives them.

There are laws against this kind of shit, because it's detrimental to our individual freedom. There is nothing stopping these people from dishing out beatings, perhaps maiming or killing people, at their own whim. There is no investigation, no proof, no nothing; only people who have decided they're capable of discerning who it's okay to harass and beat up, simply and literally because they feel like it

Look it's a van, no it's a bus, NO! It's Chubby Man! He protects citizens from Captain Cupcake. Wow, I feel kind of bad ripping on a guy that I've never seen before, then again he is doing something incredibly stupid so... screw 'em.

Oh man that is so cooool! They arent, but the general idea is. Hopefully there will be at least a handful of them that are actually good at it.

Also, the number 1 rule for being a vigilante really should be that before you can protect someone else you must be able to protect yourself. Most of these guys couldnt piss their way out of a bathroom, they should REALLY learn a fighting style or get some kind of weapon... and just try to avoid being caught on camera because everyone knows the best heroes arent attention whores.

And now I saved the best for last... I am gonna check out that website! :D

Eh, it's the same as any of those other 'take back our street movements' we have one here in our town where they all wear green vests (like constructions workers have) and red hats. They just dress a lot goofier.
