and not one other kid with Godparents can fix it.

Let's do that. I remember seeing that grotesque piece of crap on youtube when it first appeared. Needless to say, I've had a genocidal bloodlust towards all of orange-kind ever since. Seriously, how that poorly-animated heap of fecal matter got a full TV show is beyond me.Fappy said:That reminds me. Can we ***** about Annoying Orange in this thread? That show makes me want to strangle elderly people.
Where Ed, Edd n' Eddy holds the edge though is that it seems about as silly, but that's because it's really surreal. I'd say although it's got a lot of crude jokes too, it's very clever. Not that I'm disagreeing with you, you can peddle shit to kids an awful lot. Though I think they can still appreciate when something is genuinely better.Muspelheim said:I imagined a titanic set of buttocks protruding out of the TV-set, blowing soap bubbles into the room from the stygian depths of its trench...Fappy said:My little brother watches it occasionally. It blows ass.
Perfect example of how bad cartoons got before Adventure Time made them good again.
I would complain, but... I really like Ed, Edd n' Eddy. I know what I'm like. Had I been the age, I'd have probably eaten my Johnny Testicle prolefeed with the rest of them.
Yeah but those 4 shows are probably the most hilarious thing and even better than the most of the OGs. Plus the new Teen Titans Go is pretty funny too if people stopped bitching about it being different.Ultratwinkie said:You know, I think this shows how far it has fallen.xPixelatedx said:Because they cancelled Young Justice, Thundercats, Green Lantern and Sym-Bionic Titan. The closest things to quality programing this network will ever see.SaneAmongInsane said:Look, I hold no hate for the show. I've watched it, it's alright, but I'm sitting here eating my dinner watching Cartoon Network and I see they're advertising new episodes?
How? Is there some sort of huge Johnny Test fanbase out there? Are the episodes just cheap as hell to make?

Now they have an awful lot of money to blow and they need shows to fill those gaps. They can now afford an endless array of the cheapest, most obnoxious dog feces you can legally cram down kid's throats before being arrested for abuse. Why have a few good quality programs when you can so many terrible ones? Cartoon network is basically using the McDonald's business model of TV programming.

Though, I guess Hana Barbera was the best children's show maker for the last 50 years for a reason huh? Not easy to top that legacy.
That a fairly large assumption to make. The Plunk said:grown, childless men
Hey man, there were some good shows in that time period. Spectacular Spider-Man was brilliant (why did the corporate hand of darkness cancel it ;_Fappy said:My little brother watches it occasionally. It blows ass.

Oh you young whippersnappers, always with the generalizations and whatnot. You'll understand when you're olderThe Plunk said:I still don't understand why grown, childless men care so much about children's cartoons, but I guess some questions just don't have answers.
And for very similar reasons, this is why I don't like Phineas and Ferb. I understand a lot of people do, and I respect that, because it seems to be a decent show (Unlike Johnny Test). However, I despise it for simply fallowing the same formula over and over again:Wraith said:Sisters test gadget on Johnny.
Johnny has problem.
Johnny finds that the only way to solve the problem is to use said gadget, so he steals it.
Gadget causes a bigger problem.
Sisters must help to save everyone.
Johnny doesn't learn his lesson.
Repeat.
I too agree with this. Even though there are cartoon shows out there that I hate and love I know that I am not the target demographic. It's not meant for me to enjoy, usually, after I turn 18, so complaining about a literal 'kids' show as an adult can be a waste of time. In essence, it's about the same as high school teenagers complaining about Dora the Explorer not changing up her act after the pass few years of airing.Guitarmasterx7 said:Well I mean, we're talking about a kids show here. I'm assuming you aren't like, 10 (though this is the internet so maybe I'm wrong.) Not to say kids have NO concept of quality, but I wouldn't expect a kid to be like "the animation is lacking because its all tweens" or something. Also any cartoon that's supposed to be "cool" for kids is pretty much going to fall flat with an adult audience. Like if the cartoon character gets on a skateboard and does mad boss kickflips and shit that's pretty much going to be a waste of a scene to anyone who's not going to go pretend theyre that character with their friends at elementary school the next day.
