I think, when people look back at the 00's, there will be three women who epitomize how the tabloid press need to be changed.

Katie Price, Jade Goody and Victoria Beckham.

These three women, in their short "careers", have engendered more false emotions and damage towards women's perspective than the entirety of the 70's TV.

And we can't even hear about real "princesses" because that is considered sexist.

That's why the only news I get is from the Escapist... (is that considered advertising?) I hate the news. I cared about Michael Jackson dying. I felt sad. But about a month later, all the shock was gone. I didn't want to keep hearing about it. Most of the news is either about celebrity trash or biased bullshit. If it means being cut off from the world, so be it. I would rather know nothing than to be constantly informed about brand new pictures of the cast of New Moon.

And I read one of those stupid tabloids one time and the article title read "____ and ____ fight infront of the kids, marriage in jeoparady!" and it was how ___ said to ____ "Hey calm the kids down so I can order this fast food." WHAT? That is not a failing marriage. A failing marriage is like daddy smacking mommy because the meatloaf is overcooked. Like people need to get their heads out of their asses and report some real news.
