Something that pisses me off (this doesn't pertain to just America) is that so many people are fundamentalists. No matter what information is presented to them on an issue, they won't change their stance - not because they refute the evidence, but because they just ignore it.

I'm from the Philippines, and there's no shortage of things to be ashamed about:

poor education
horrendous leadership
corruption in the government
general disregard for rules and laws
general stupidity and pig-headedness (its like the stereotype people have of Americans, except without the "rich and powerful country" prerequisite)

And I'm not even getting started -__-


If I'd have to pick one though, it'd be the way most Filipinos generally act like idiots on the web. Barely literate for most parts, never anything useful to contribute. *sigh* It sucks being in a third world country.
