Given a little time, I could come up with an entire list, but just off the top of my head...

I miss the Guild system (amongst many, many other things) from Morrowind. I missed this in Oblivion as well. It always irks me how I can rise to be leader of the Mage's guild, and be a complete dipshit concerning all things magic. In Morrowind, however, guilds challenge you to advance the relevant skills before allowing you to progress.

From Oblivion I miss the over-dramatic Imperial Guards. Picked up an apple on the street? "STOP! You violated the law! Pay court a fine or serve your sentence! Your stolen apple is now forfeit.... *Eats apple* PAY WITH YOUR BLOOD!"

The dialogue systems from the first 3 games. Yes, they weren't amazing, but at least I wasn't forced to say silly things like, "was that dragon on your side?" and, "do you perhaps have an Elder Scroll around here?" You could also just chat with some people about anything, and that combined with Skyrim's real-time dialogue system would be a cool way to spend an in-game hour waiting for something.

Of course, then there'd be a lot more voice acting to do. :|

Can't speak for anything before Morrowind, but I DO miss the world being "static" insofar as leveling went; everything/one had a level and woe to he/she who casually strayed into the wrong random cave or ruin unprepared... I hate how the world has seems to level up with you in Oblivion and Skyrim, boss characters dropping Iron equipment because you managed to take them out when you're only level 12 or not seeing anything better than Elven gear until you hit level 30, etc. In Morrowind, it was a unique payoff to wander off quest paths and go after high-level gear and enemies when you were clearly out-gunned.

There sort of is a system like that, theres a lot of caves and ruins that are disastrous for lower level players to go into (Off the top of my head Shimmermist cave, the Companions sent me in there when I was level 5, the regular Falmer were bad enough but then at the end there was a Falmer mage backed up by a Dwavern Centurion)

Im fine with how it is, certain places stay challenging while others level up with you, much better than Oblivions horrid system

Have spears made a comeback in Skyrim?
No, but they really should have considering we are fighting fucking dragons.

We are not going to get any of these improvements until the next console generation. Just my opinion. This includes the fallout series too.

I miss Frostcrag Spire, actually. Sure, I have my swank digs at the College, but Frostcrag is, what, a mile south of the border? I can practically see it poking through the clouds on the overworld map! I want my house.

I miss the ability to have a Human Male that looks somewhat attractive and with a complexion that doesn't look like you have had your face rubbed over and over against a brick wall.

Sunder and Wraithguard, from Morrowind. They gave us Keening for no reason I can think of, so why not give the other two artifacts an upgrade and put them in?(mind you I forgot what happened to them at the end of Morrowind, so there could be a reason for this)

As mentioned above, the Morrowind guild system was actually challenging. Also, I miss the length of the guild quests. In Oblivion, they took you awhile to beat. In Skyrim, it seems like they shortened them. Some of the final guild quests were disappointing to say the least. The Arena from Oblivion was fun too, would of been nice to have one in Skyrim considering the Nords are a warrior race.

I miss everything that was cut since Morrowind...

Maybe except RNG based hits when I clearly just shot a guy in the face with my crossbow. I mean, come on.

Oh! speaking of shooting, I miss enchanting a ring to deal 3-8 damage on target.
I mean, if you ever did make what I call a Gatling Ring, you should know how much fun it is to use Enchanting as a primary combat skill.

Mark and Recall. Fast Travel is just lame. I don't want Levitation back, climbing up to safe places and shooting everything is cheesy enough already.

I haven't even touched the main story in Skyrim yet, so I don't know if there are colony building missions like in Bloodmoon or not. That was awesome.

Magic creation station. I loved that thing. Had to make my favorite anime related spells.

Also, I like how Oblivion and Morrowind WORKED ON PS3 AFTER 65 HOURS!

So I would change those...
Do note Oblivion ALSO Ran on an Xbox 360, with way less graphics than skyrim. Well, not world-changing but you know what I mean.

So basically, Skyrim is too much man for the puny consoles. Let's wait for the next generation!

I miss jumping over mountains. Imagine a dragon coming at you then you just jump 20 feet into the air and shout at him from above. That would be awesome. Or at least I think that would be awesome.

Or even just jumping onto them and kicking their ass. But seriously, I want athletics and acrobatics back Bethesda, please? :(

(Seriously, acrobatics. come on. Seeing as how I can just spend a minute or two and jump up every mountain in skyrim AND Oblivion I don't ever see why you took it out)

I'll just go with this. Everything looks evil/constipated in this game. It does a lot for the overall tone, but I want to make a human that isn't horrifying.

Also, did anyone else notice the children's dialogue in this game? I feel like Bethesda hates children or something. All of the children in Skyrim are just horribly mean little wastes of un-killable, all-seeing flesh.

They took it out because it was a pointless skill to have. Literally everyone has to jump, and specializing in it just meant that you would be more boned when you fight the next boss monster because you should have spent time on a more useful skill.

Piggybacking on most other statements, but I completely agree.

The way Morrowind did Guilds makes me miss them, you literally could not move up in the guild until you completely earned it. It feels a little like Skyrim is telling me, "Hey, do a couple quick things for me and you get to tell us all what to do, nice job new guy, no practice necessary." I think it added into the immersion.

I also miss a "House structure" like in Morrowind. I appreciate that I do a few quick things for the Jarls, but what about building up my own little stronghold. I liked my House Hlaalu stronghold with my butler (nicknamed him Jeeves).

Spears, levitation, mark, recall, Divine Intervention spells, spell-making. I love Skyrim, but I also liked a deep roleplaying game with tons of stats, etc.

Honestly, I also miss multiple clothing options. Oblivion and Skyrim gave me Head, Torso, Arms, Legs, one finger, and a neck.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I had Head, Right shoulder, Left Shoulder, Torso, Left hand, Right hand, Legs, Feet, two ring fingers, a neck, and a waist.

You could also wear clothing and armor at the same time, to me this makes a good bit of sense because you don't want that metal rubbing on your skin.
