Was just playing Insurgency (Multiplayer Half-Life 2 Mod.) and an RPG shot landed at my feet. I flew off a small ridge and landed next to a truck. I thought it was awesome cause I imagined myself doing the whole arms and legs stretched forward thing, and as it was in first person I imagined my death. Also I had The Catalyst trailer for the new MOH stuck in my head, and it just made the moment powerful in my head.

the title cut scene from AC1
I liked the one in AC2. Ezio's intuition caused him to kill the dude in an awesome way.

OT: Any sort of 'crashing the party' time things. Where I break down the door or the roof and just look f**king awesome!

Finishing off the boss of the second level in the Bayonetta demo. The rest of the demo was awesome enough, but that final sequence sealed the deal and made the full game an instant must buy for me.

How what! how!
The Terrible Shotgun. It fires nine pellets, each with a critical hit damage of 40. That's a total critical hit damage of 360, boosted to 540 with the better criticals perk. Add a base damage of 80 for a nice 620, then double it because I was wearing the Chinese Stealth Suit. Boom! Headshot!

That section from Dark Void where you have to climb into some kind of generator, blow the thing up, then free fall down and activate your jump pack in time to fly away as the whole superstructure collapses above you.

In Fallout 3 when the VATS kill shot follows the bullet all the way to the enemy and then the ragdoll physics just finish it off beautifully.
Also the first time I performed an Astral Heat in BlazBlue made me smile.
I love those, but they don't happen as often as I'd like...

in GTA IV my car was burning and about to explode, so I got out of it while still on, which made niko's head break a fucking lamp post while the car still went on, ran over an old lady and another 2-3 civilians with the subsequent explosion.

in fallout 3 in the white house, whatching Supermutants and the Talon Company fight was pretty awesome and immersive.

in GoW 2, on a guardian match killing the Leader and 3 players, WHILE being the leader myself made my day.

and basically

When in Armed Assault, my spotter and I (I play in a sniper team) managed to pin down about 30 real players and their vehicles for 3 hours with a few well-placed shots.

Every time I backstab someone in LOTR: Conquest. As critical as everyone seems to be of it, I still have a ton of fun playing with my friends.
I love that game, sure it's got poor graphics, AI and balancing, but you can play as a fucking ent!

I was doing one of the chase missions in GTA 4. I was driving at top speed, and one of my front wheels hit a slight bump (I don't remember what it was). What I do remember is that my car did a perfect barrel roll and landed back on all four wheels without losing any speed.

What sort of things did you see or do in a game that make think 'That was totally frigging awesome!'
Also ME1, seeing Sovereign blown to bits, it was as epic a moment as can get.
Oh yes I concur. The finale was ball-tighteningly epic; almost as good as the Battle of Endor but that doesn't count here because it was in a film, not a game.

I have to admit that, although I reloaded the save and did it the good way afterwards, blowing up Megaton in Fallout 3 was fairly awesome. I love that eerie green mist that surrounds Megaton afterwards...what I never could get is how the radiation that surrounds the town after a fresh-nuking is pitiful wheras the entrance to Vault 87, where the radiation had 200 years to disperse, is over 3000 Rads/Sec in places.

I've also used VATS to shoot a primed grenade whilst still in the enemy's hand - good stuff!
