Playing MadWorld for the first time and seeing the Little Eddie fatalaty.

K.O.-ing and opponent with a Level 3 Super in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Fighting Stallord and Argorock in Twilight Princess.

Any level in Super Mario Galaxy 2 that requires constant jumping (Flip Swap, Beat Block, ones like that).

The Fallout 3 Megaton explosion was pretty epic. But I have to say the time I was most in awe while playinfg a game was the last level of Halo 3. The whole warthog race against time over lava and bits of forerunner technology into the back of a spaceship was just the coolest thing ever at the time.

RSV2. I kicked in the door, threw a frag, and sprayed the place with a MP5. No terrorist survived. No terrorist fired a shot.

Punching in Hercules's face in God of War 3. No matter how many times I play that battle, I always grit my teeth whenever I get to that part.

Then the entire train level on Uncharted 2. More specifically, that quote that Drake says when he sees how you're supposed to take down the chopper. ("How the hell am I supposed to take down a hel-LOOOOOOOO!")

I also wish I could've seen my face when I killed my first Regenerator in RE4.

And last but not least, my friend was playing GTA4 on multiplayer. Long story short, his entire team was in a helicopter, it crashed, only he survived.

I preferred Halo:CE's ending. Driving a wharthog through an exploding crashed Pillar of Autumn on a race against time, while the flood and covenant duked it out. Absolute awesomness.

Its also very satisfying to get a good streak going in BC2, especially as engineer (I love taking out a full enemy squad, then shooting down a chopper flying overhead. A-T mines are also beautiful things.

its got to be the second to last cutscene from halo wars, spartans versus elites, and the spartans kick some ASS.
or
i duno if this counts but in halo legends the final scene was just completely awsome all the way, it almost made up for the film.
or
in MW2 when u exit the "gulag" (big prison) on a rope attached to a helicopter (spoiler) after rescuing Cpt Price it just looks so hollywood.
or
while playing MW2 i threw a throwing knife over a building at random and killed someone on S&D and my whole team was watching me play and kill him, the aftermath was THAT WAS AWSOME.
orrrrr
when i got the achievement for killing that general guy in CoD WaW, but with the pistol
oooorrrrrrrrr
the first time i summoned each of yunas aeons in FFX, all the entrances are great the first time u watch em.
oooooooorrrrrrrr
in FFX, the opening scene is just simply amazing.

thats all i can think of for now.

Mirror's Edge: Jumping from one moving train to another, that blew my mind. I think the last time I said that was for Riven with the roller coaster (clearly my standards have evolved)

Firing for the first time the upgraded Colt 1911 in Nazi Zombies. Ka-fucking-boom!
And I'm sure it was said before, but the Experimental MIRV from Fallout. Sheer awesomeness.

Every time I backstab someone in LOTR: Conquest. As critical as everyone seems to be of it, I still have a ton of fun playing with my friends.
I love that game, sure it's got poor graphics, AI and balancing, but you can play as a fucking ent!
Oh no, definitely has a LOT of flaws.
But you can play as Isildur and Sauron, I'm happy.

End of mass effect 2
made my year.
I dunno the ending to Mass effect 2 was really cheesy and cliche. I much preferred the ending to Mass effect.
...don't edit me, please even if it is just a little thing (if you are just cutting to the meat of what I said is fine just don't switch things up). I said "Red Dead Redemption glitch...I rode a bear, it was the only glitch I had in that game...and it made my year." And I didn't mean specifically the ending cutscene, but at the end of the game I was like that game was awesome, I want more.

I honestly have to say the entire mw2 campaign, and when first learning of all the multiplayer killstreaks.

I have a couple:

When I accidentally surfed on a helicopter in BC2.

When I blew up Megaton. (Fallout 3)

When I had to fight the Galaxy News Behemoth Only Using Jingwei's Shocksword (Fallout 3).

When a friend of mine showed me the true potential of the swing sets in GTA 4.

When I was driving around on my motorcycle in GTA 4 when I accidentally hit a car while I was on the middle of one of the large bridges. The reason this was awesome was because I landed in somebody's backyard.

Good story. Good characters. Good visuals. Good gameplay. Good music and audio production values.

All of them are equally important.
