Being hunted by unkillable monsters, like the OP. I could even use the same monster as an example; whenever I play Dead Space, the mere thought of facing the Hunter always fills me with dread. I also get uncomfortable when I see characters that I like get hurt in really horrible ways, like when Alyx gets attacked by the Combine Hunter in Half-Life 2: Episode 2, or most of Isaac's death scenes in Dead Space 2.

Whenever a serious injury happens, like The Boss busting your arm in the beginning of MGS 3, or the aforementioned cutting off your finger in Heavy Rain.

To avoid spoilers: Dead Space 2 'Clever Girls achievement. The AI programming was a little too good there.

Falling in games makes me cringe a little, especially if the crunch is realistic enough as my shins go through my rectum X/

The library in Metro 2033. Staring those librarians in the eye and hoping they didn't try to kill you.
What? Those huge gorrilla things?

I just cracked out the heavy Auto-Shotgun and got on with it. Like a man!
That's what I did on my second playthrough after I found out how absurdly easy they are to kill.
Yeah, I never bought the "Ohmigod the monsters are totally unkillable," aspect of Metro 2033. Whenever I met a new sort of enemy, I just shot it until it died. Hence my meetings with the gorillas, and my many deaths to those flying bat things...... Note to self, .44 calibre revolver with stock and barrel still ain't gonna kill one of those things.

If, however it turned out they WERE actually unkillable. I put Plan B into action.

RUN LIKE HELL!!!!

I spent a lot of Metro 2033 doing that....

The Tepid Sewers in Fallout 3 where you had to avoid killing the Mirelurks. The corridors were narrow, the Mirelurks were large in number, and I was lost.

It was pretty sweet :D

Only once, in Morrowind, you had to persuade a guy that didn't want to fight in the arena to fight. After much convincing you get him to duel this guy that challenged him, only to watch him be killed easily.

I know I'm probably the only one who will say this, but it has to be heights. I dunno know why really, but whenever I am playing a game that has you got to the roof of a skyscraper or something, if I look over the edges I start getting a rather uncomfortable feeling. I mean, in real life I have an extreme case of Vertigo, can't tilt my head back without getting extremely light headed.
Strangely enough though, Mirrors Edge didn't really bother me when I played it, except for that one part where you slide down the glass. Otherwise, it didn't bother me much. But most other first person perspective games make me feel all uncomfortable when I look down from extreme heights or if I look up at the sky.

V_V I'm a pansy.

Some of the boss finishing sequences in God of War 3. "Could I maybe NOT rip his head off? How about just slice it off or something <_<".

But the thing that causes me most discomfort is... Multiplayer RTS's, especially one-on-ones. My feet and hands feel cold, my face blushes and I just feel I don't want to do it. That's why I really don't anymore. I don't quite know what causes this. Maybe it's the feeling of there being a guy behind the fog of war mustering his forces to kill me, combined with the horrible tunnel vision I get while playing.

It's really weird, but playing single player games where i'm the only person in my party (as in no other cpu helpers or anything) and its a stealthish type game, or stealth is involved.

i cannot explain it, but i absolutely HATE playing games where there isn't some kind of party or co op mechanic, and it involves stealth or certain things. idk...it just bugs the living hell out of me, i think thats why i find "horror" games so revolting, your always fucking alone.

Mexico in Red Dead Redemption made me uncomfortable. You are forced to help the government kill all of the men in a town so that they could have the women. I immediately shot the leader of the people I was working with and lost the mission. Somehow I made it through all of the story missions in Mexico, but I was angry through the whole thing. After that, I went on a killing spree and felt a little better... Only a little though.
Absolutely the same thing here. I was like "I don't want to be a dick, Marston was a gentleman up until this point." As I was doing it I had a >:C face because I defintely did not like burning down those houses either.

Oddly I don't have a game that makes me feel uncomfortable. I've yet to buy and play Amnesia, I'm hoping that may change that. I suppose I was bit "Oh good god" on FarCry2 when you dig bullets out of your arm with knives, but I got used to it.

EDIT: Oh another one was when Alyx got pierced by that Hunter in HL2:EP2.

And btw this thread is
SPOILER CENTRAL

Maybe we should put some spoilers up for important plot related information.

I hate falling in games, doesn't matter which game it is I always get this gut wrenching feeling.
Although Crackdown was a rare exception for some reason.

Fellow Escapists, is there anything in games that can actually not feel well?
For me, it's being hunted by a unkillabe enemy. In Dead Space, there is one enemy, aptly named the "Hunter" that can regenerate it's limbs, so it can only be slowed. Made worse by the fact it can travel through vents, like most creatures in Dead Space.
That creature in dead space was fucking terrifying - I got stuck in a small space with it, which required telekinesis to escape from and I was shitting myself.

The part in Bioshock where, if you pick up the recording, you here....a child, being made to kill a puppy under the effects of mind control. I've played that game three times and that bit upsets me every time.
Especially when you find out
The kid was you.
OT: I'll keep this Bioshock related.
After Andrew Ryan tells you Atlas is mind controlling you, you brutally kill Ryan because Atlas tells you too, and then Atlas tells you to hit the button for him. Seriously, I was in a state of both horror and awe.
