What things in life make you feel safe? I like to hang around my friends, somehow it makes me feel stronger.

Oh, and when I'm in a large group of friends.

I'll second the wallet-thing, but subtract the money. All I need is to know my wallet's in my pocket, and it's all well and good. Because if you have a wallet and a bank card, then you've got food and lodging wherever you go. I also like having my cellphone with me, because then I have a connection to the outside world.

Other than that, being alone. I can lock myself up in a corner somewhere and just relax, then.

Listening to heavy/fast/angry music and/or when I'm pissed off often give me a feeling of 'invincability' for some reason, you could probably beat the everlasting piss out of me and my response would probably be 'that's the best you can do?'.

Besides that, my leather jacket, Volf's 'happy stick' (cookie for the reference) and being indoors.

The night, especially when it's rainy. It makes me feel very secure and private when I walk around in it.

Also just sitting on the couch, sitting against the person you love with nothing to worry about. Shame I can't do that yet.

Oh, you know. Not the best, but way above average in a wide variety of sports. Physically coordinated and skilled.

Good grades with little effort. Problem solving skills. Hell, life is a giant mess of obstacles you have to overcome. Which is why educators supposedly value critical thinking so highly.

Oh yeah, knowing that people can't see you/aren't looking at you. Privacy makes a body relax alright. =D
