Hot Fuzz. The entire first half of the movie is just setting up objects and dialogue to be quoted later, it's magnificent. If you were to list everything that you thought was a throw-away joke that becomes a plot point later on, you would have the entire first half of the script written down.

usually I notice something visual, like oh in (i think it is the beginning) of twister they scene is like 8 seconds long but is actually the same two seconds looped (which is only noticeable because of one piece of grass) or in the matrix when Neo is reaching for the door knob in one scene and you can see the camera man off to the side of the reflection. and other things like that.....in white chicks there is a scene where two kids are paid to go do something (in front of some chick to get her attention) and when the two kids come back for payment they are wearing different clothes and have different hair cuts

Things in certain movies do get annoying after watching them a couplse of times.
But I couldn't even watch Pulp Fiction the first time I tried.

The strangest thing I've noticed in a movie after watching it so many times, was in The Scorpion King. I've seen it about 16 times, and it took me that long to realize, that only two people in the whole movie actually have names.

At first, I thought The Matrix was a shoot-em-up only.
Then I saw it as a philosophy-fest.
