People who say "like" after every fucking word.

Sure, its funny at first. But after 2 minutes...

The made up slang that's slowly seeping into conversation. Where I live, apparently the many thousands or real words aren't good enough, so we get to describe things as 'peng'. Yay.

No. No it is not peng. Peng is not a goddamn word.

And if we have to make words up, can we at least try not to make them sound ridiculous?
Things that are good here are described as "diesel" like the fuel, or "disgusting" like Rosie O'Donell.

It might not be in regular conversation, but when somebody (particularly a girl) is having a fit and ends a word with that gigantic, whiney "NNNNNNNUH!!" sound. It is so pathetic I just want to punch an infant.

Probably people who say "like" too often, or "um" when they pause...or both together.
"So yeah I was like, um yeah watching tv and like um..."...GAH!

People who say "dude" when the word really really doesn't suit them. Either as a greeting or a way of describing someone, it just looks and sounds wrong.

And...it's not something people say, but people who can't hold/make eye contact, or don't ever MAKE eye contact. I have a friend who never does it and it drives us all mad as he stares into the middle distance near your shoulders or off to one side and you just want to yell "LOOK AT MY EYES!"
Depends on culture sometimes. Iwas raised to never look an adult in the eye, and some peop consider it disrespectful to NOT lookthem in the eye. Or maybe he like, um, does it to like piss you off ;)
I don't think it's a concious or cultural thing, I think it's more a matter of him being a bit weird haha. He also has tendancy of walking off mid-conversation to do something else.

My friends both have these pet words that seem to be on their word a day calendar, asanine, mediocre, and irrelevent, they don't seem to fully understand what they mean, but use them everyday.

Anyone saying any form of "indeed" thanks to @TheNamlessGuy.
Quite indeed it seems so!

OT: Well, anyone saying dude in every 5th word, dude!
I would respond with something saying "dude" repeatedly, but I'm above that, dude.

I really hate "you know", you know?

I also get annoyed at English people saying sKedule instead of schedule. We know that the Americans have caned our fine language, but that is not an excuse for copying them. Add 'erb and aluminum to that list too.
so you don't pronounce it sKool, you pronounce it school?

I hate when people add to be fair on the end of every other damned part of their sentance, beginning and end..."to be fair, valve are taking their time with the engineer update... to be fair."

and, "this is true"

"Hey that band really kicks some ass"
"yeah, this is true"

UGH DAMN MONGOS.

People who are excessively critical of things they know very little to nothing about. I know many in the Escapist community are guilty of that, you know who you are.

Also I hate the "words" *sarcastic air quotes* 'pwn' and 'emo'. I want to punch anyone who uses them in the face, repeatedly. Esp. emo, even typing it right now is making my skin crawl.

I'm of the opinion that the phrase "take a chill pill" should be punishable by pharmaceutical overdose, whether it be lethal or not depends on the offenders history and nature of the offense.

Also, excessive use of "like" (though I can handle some) and "know what I'm saying?"

What?

OT: People who sue slang. In my school, there's stuff like "ledge" and "beats" and some other retarded stuff that people say every two seconds. What does it mean? I dunno.

Oh, and people who call things they don't like gay/queer/faggy, etc. Just plain stupid.
