Nope, but COD4 is much more rusher friendly, barring one or two maps (creek and overgrown).
I was just thinking that I'd love a scope that would have an on/off button for thermal optics. So, you could like switch it on for when there's a need and just use the regular one the rest of the time. Then no one would bother with smoke grenades anymore :)

One of the things that I really love about CoD 4 is that the semi automatic assault rifles kick ass. In MW 2...not so much. Also, unlike in CoD 4, I have long since abandoned any attempt to make head shots. Center of mass is my credo these days regardless of what gun I'm using, and every now and then the game magically decides that I did a headshot instead. Hey, it must be that aiming aid, which also tells me when I'm aiming at a hostile, even though I can't see him!

To me a lot of the guns feel pretty much the same: you get the same upgrades and pretty much nothing changes. Some of them shoot a little slower, others a little quicker. Some have recoil - others don't (I'm looking at you M16!).

Hmmm. I found headshots much easier to get in MW2, though it could just be that I was getting more kills in general than in COD4.

The lack of recoil can either help or hinder you with headshots. My AK-47 in CoD4 was a beast for the cranium-crackers.

Actually, I also preffer the storyline of cod4 not because it's more "beleivable" like you said(which is a valid point of view nevertheless) but because it's better explained in cod mw2 you're just thrown at some missions that don't fit at all. but I guess special ops with friends compensates the rest....
I feel the same. I love MW2 but I still find myself preferring cod4. And special ops was pretty damn fun

I play like this in COD4. I suck at headshots and go for the headshot potluck instead when I play unless its a camper who hasn't notice me or that person is afk.

I found the fact that you get betrayed like, three times in the campaign incredibly stupid.

Also, the Model 1887s... 'nuff said

The only part i hated about it was when i killed someone with a grenade launcher, they would call me a "Noob Tuber". Sore loserssss! Anyway, the game is really good. But as always, Xbox Live is full of pr*cks!

This weekend there was a rise in hacked games on PC...you connect to a game as normal..except you accidentally stumbled into a Turbo/LowGrav version of Rust where a single kill levels you to 70.

I got caught in one and not knowing about the xp issue stayed around to shield bash a few ppl(it was quite hilarious).

when I exited I realized what had happened so I prestiged to reset my lvl to one...felt too cheap to keep the levels I didn't earn.

but it was definitely happening a lot over the weekend, Sunday night and this morning all the games I played in had about half the players at prestige10 lvl70.

I see what you mean. Yes, MW2 is unrealistic but personally I thought that made it a lot more enjoyable. Almost every level had that one part where you went "that was fucking badass." Like in Brazil where you fall off that roof and then run like hell through the street while pretty much the whole village tries to kill you. Or when you "Plan B" the shit out of like, 40 guys. Yeah it's unrealistic, but it definitely kicked up the experience, and it got to the point where I had to keep playing because I was wanted to see what curve ball they would throw me at the end of the level.

The addition of akimbo just added a bit more variety to multiplayer IMO. It's like having a whole separate class of weapons, and honestly i'm not looking for any kind of gripping realism in a game mode in which my objective is to kill people with names like "xX1337PWNAssassinXx". Can't give you a yes or no on campaign, because I never found an akimbo'd weapon on campaign.

it was a nuke, but detonated at a high altitude, the effect will still be that of an emp, but with the blast as well, god only knows how it blew the space station away, due to the fact there is minimal atom density, but that is moot anyway
gotta have a little artistic license
Did you just pull random facts out of your ass with out a source? Hey guys today i discovered the moon is green, this is caused by grass growing on space rocks.

Well, considering i was using common sense, and also considering the facts weren't random i fail to see what the fuck you are talking about, but nevermind.

If you want to correct me you are welcome, but attacking me for no fucking reason is incredibly immature

Oh yeah it's wildly unrealistic in places and that is probably why this is the first CoD game I've actually really enjoyed.

Just to add to that list: Fucking Juggernauts. The sound you hear when one's spotted you aswell *shudders*.

I don't care about some guy with a mohawk, if he wants it he can have it, does it really matter? Only thing I hate about MW2 is the fact that when I am playing in a party with my friend it takes forever to find a match because either it says the game lobby closed on him, or visa versa, could not connect to host... and all the other excuses IW came up with. Oh right and the fact that they don't allow party chat in Team Deathmatch WTF why not IW why can't we have Party chat? Maybe I don't want to hear the little whiny 12 year olds who came over from Gaylo 3.

User review maybe?

Posting this in one of the other 100 MW2 threads?

Just saying all of these points have been brought up many times before.

On topic (ish), no game is perfect so why are so many people singling out MW2?
