Seriously so many stupid guards always mark me as a criminal when I didn't even do anything wrong, and I can't do anything other than serve my time pay gold or try to fight back, which I can't cause I'll die.

Also killing adversaries. For example in RE4 ever wonder why Leon didn't just take out his gun and shot Saddler/Mendez/Salazar/Krauser in the face when he had the chance? So many stupid main characters don't get the job done when they can and are forced to take part in a pointless boss fight.
