It is impossible to perform the subtle hand motions such as the raising of the middle finger and pointing it toward those who just insulted you. or to raise the thumb towards those who have done something you liked.

getting away with murder IE GTA
So it's easier to get away with murder in real life?
Hell yeah, otherwise I'd be pretty screwed.

I mean, in games, the police/guards/whoever seem to automatically know you've killed someone, while in real life, you have to go around boasting on internet forums that you're a psychopathic kill... ah

Aiming
in real life i quilified Expert Marksman on the M16A2 with 47/50 shots on target (94%)
in video games my marksmanship equates to "Spray and Pray". my usual left 4 dead accuracy is around 33%

I'd say hop over small fences, crawl over rubble, walk through the brush...pretty much anything that developers like to use as an 'invisible wall' that is actually really easy to get past.

killing those big things in gears of war- 1.5 clips to the head - realistically you could take one out with 2/3 bullets- even if it had something like a 2 inch thick skull
