There used to be a thread about this, but it's over a year old now. Time for something new!

I was thinking about this today because I found a simple webpage that I find way for enjoyable than I probably should. -> http://mirrors.rit.edu/instantCSI/

Every time I hit that button, even though I loathe Horatio, it brings a smile to my face.

So Escapists, what items, activities, what-have-yous do you think are more fun than they were probably intended to be?

Giving an honest reply to this might leave me in a bit of a sticky [http://mirrors.rit.edu/instantCSI/] situation...

I actually managed to use that link given in the very OP... I am so proud to be me ^.^

EDIT: also, arguing on the internet, although saying that is a tad redundant on the escapist :p

Watching people get mad playing videogames they're bad at.

Also watching Strongbad draw Trogdor, sure it's a comedy show but nothing involving a pencil and paper should be that funny.

Listening to Female fronted (or All Female) Punk bands.

Listening to them is more fun than they should be, Sleater-Kinney is my new crack.

There's just something about Girls rocking out that gives me the hugest eargasmic grin on my face, there definitely needs to be a lot more bands like this. So I say, Go Riot Grrrl, may you smite a Male dominated genre forever more.

Despite having spent dozens upon dozens of lives over far more continues than I would admit if I kept track of an actual number, Super Mario Brothers: Lost Levels is the kind of game I just can't stop playing around with. Yes, even though 3-1 can trick you into going back to the beginning of the game if you take that World 1 warp pipe. That game has been beating my ass like a drunken step-parent but I can't help but love it like a biological one.

As for something far removed from gaming I have a challenge for you: Open up a bottle of snapple or, something similar (ie: glass bottle with metal cap, Snapple sucks IMO). Now compress the middle of the cap until it makes a metallic popping noise. Now the object is to see how much time passes between the first pop and the time when you realize you've just spent X minutes/hours just popping a cap.

That's part of the reason why Trogdor is my avatar :D

You too? My daughter loves hers! She doesn't really play outside with it much, though. She and her friends spend hours up in her room with it, though, so she must really enjoy it.
I knew it was a great Christmas gift!

Huh... Instant CSI. What will they think of next?

OT: Probably a Dalek toy, but I love it.

Walking out at night gazing at the stars and the Moon, it sounds like it should be very boring but it's my single favourite thing to do in the entire world, there is nothing that's more entertaining to me than that, Why? I do not know but it's the only thing that can cheer me up when I'm really depressed, it's specially magical when you are out in the country and there's no luminous contamination to prevent you to look at the stars, though seeing the empty almost ghostly city at night can be pretty surreal but can also get you mugged, that's why you should not carry anything valuable with you if you decide to do this in the city.

I think the majority of bronies on this site will agree with me on MLP:FiM.
Also, griefing. I'm a generally nice person, I stand up to bullies if someone is getting picked on, always make my morals clear and try to be good, but something about burning down hours of people's in-game work... pleases me.

Winning a game of UMVC3 with Phoenix Wright's level 3... Man that never gets old. Take it from me, throwing a last character Hyper at Turnabout Phoenix Wright is signing your own death warrant.

"Shinkuu Hadouke-"

"The one who actually commited the crime... *desk slam* IS YOU!"

Oh and Plinkett's reviews (notably the Star Wars and the Indiana Jones' and the Crystal Shenanigans reviews.) The comic timing is just awesome. "What's wrong with your FAAAACCCCCE?!"

Trochievements, I know they have no value beyond my own sense of accomplishment; but I derive far more pleasure from them than I would like to admit.

Using semicolons are also far more pleasing than I feel they should be.

laughing as once again my cat fails to jump on to my knees, I shouldn't laugh but she's terrible at jumping!
(and the whole thing of cats landing on their feet... not this one!)
