I've got another one, this little guy right here:

I don't know why but I can listen to his song and watch him soar through the stars for unreasonable amounts of time.

Some of the channels I'm subsrcibed to on YouTube. There's a bunch of DBZ fans called the Immas and they all have names like ImmaPiccolo and ImmaVegeta and things like that. All they do is post random clips of DBZ of their respective characters, and for some reason it's funny as hell but I don't know why. Like this;

Watching people get mad playing videogames they're bad at.

Also watching Strongbad draw Trogdor, sure it's a comedy show but nothing involving a pencil and paper should be that funny.

I SAID CONSUMATE V'S!

Bubble wrap-popping is far more fun than it should be.

You too? My daughter loves hers! She doesn't really play outside with it much, though. She and her friends spend hours up in her room with it, though, so she must really enjoy it.
I knew it was a great Christmas gift!

the word Gazebo... I always pronounce it like GAAAAAAHZEBO get the extended first bit, adds kinda comedic affect, always makes people laugh... dunno why, but that word is so enjoyable...

Katamari Damacy

You roll up objects in a ball... unless we are descended from dung beetles and this somehow satisfies some lingering primal urge, it should by no rights be as fun as it is.

being 15 years old and playing in a childrens park outside a burger king in the middle of Germany, at midnight, me and my friends did this, not drunk, it was with school, and it was fantastic.

Tetris, think about it. Who would have guessed that people would spend so much time on a program created by a Russian scientist.

I've always been fond of the trope "What do you mean its not awesome!"
This [http://d.furaffinity.net/art/mifmaf/1205805898.mifmaf_runboxe.swf] exemplifies it.

Xkcd reference, I see what you did there. ;-p

OT: In addition to the many fantastic "simple pleasures" espouses by many of those posing on the thread, I'd have to say the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer demo. The game comes out in a few days. It's a demo, so none of my work will carry over.

And yet I spend hours playing it every day.

Large bubble wrap that sounds like a shotgun when stepped on. Also, the faces of the people standing close by who didn't know you were about to do so.

Trying to get the top comment on a kyrospawn video, I find the easiest way is to referance Spongebob, make fun of the comments that try and warn people of sexual comments that aren't even there, or referance any game made by Valve.

Several things that I've discovered on You're The Man Now Dog:

http://lukecompany.ytmnd.com/ - simple but great, especially since I was just watching Star Wars

http://wantsome.ytmnd.com/ - this scene isn't funny until you add the guy from Spongebob

http://spreadmystaplerandflyaway.ytmnd.com/ - I could listen to this almost as long as Nyan Cat and it wouldn't get old

Making a kitten chase a string. It seems like they can go for HOURS and they're just so.. sincere about it. I find it endlessly delightful.
