Removing and replacing a hard drive. Couldn't use any lights, had to make it look like I was sleeping.

I hate the dark in general, so I can't do anything in it without being tense or scared shitless.

Picking up all the shit that your cat knocked off your shelf is pretty hard to do in the dark.

More than once I have discovered that a Getting-Dressed-In-The-Dark session has resulted in either my shirt or boxers are on backwards and/or inside out.

Only once have I managed to put my socks on inside out in the dark, however.

Telling the time on my alarm clock.

I look at it for 10 minutes minutes trying to figure out what the hell it says.

Once I've gotten up at four in the morning when my alarm was set for six, so I only got 5 hours of sleep.

The OP is right. The dual large furniture locators that are my primary toes function perfectlly in the dark.

It is hard to tell if the toilet seat cover is down, or if your nefarious roomates/relatives have placed plastic wrap over the bowl.

Some more!

Spotting potholes (and general depth perception) on paths.

Deciding whether or not to approach someone that looks vaguely like someone you know

Using TV remote controls... where the hell is the damn menu button!?

I do everything better in the dark, think, work, stalking people on the streets.
Yeah, tell me about it. I find it sooo much harder to chop them up in the dark too.

Yeah putting on pants is always interesting in the dark. Same with any item of clothing... You invariably pick up the item that is always half inside-out.

I'm kind of the opposite.I find everything's harder to do in the light...
I'm the same way. But that's because I'm always indoors in a poorly lit room... When I go outside I go blind. xD I'm also very used to walking about in the dark and avoiding chairs, cats, dog, toys, and damn near anything else. :3

Maybe it's just clumsy me, but:

-finding the lightswitch
-finding the doorhandle
-avoiding the pointy bits of a table/bed/case/nightstand

Playing Silent Hill games for the first time without breaks.

I also can't walk around my house in the dark without being freaked out.

^ ahaha beat me to it.

I never hit furniture but if my sister leaves her scooter around somewhere I won't know where it is and hit it at least 5 times in one night.
