I hate a great many things, from poor driving to pathetic grammar and spelling. I mean the comment section of a local news website alone... how do these idiots manage to breathe?

But on topic, I'd have to say food. I suppose when I was a kid I used to be picky eater (in the broadest sense):

I never liked steamed vegetables - still don't, but I will eat them. I'd rather have them natural, straight outta the ground. No sense in making shit more complicated and, for that matter, bland tasting (plus, steamed cauliflower smells like old jism left out in the sun).

Tomato soup - never saw the appeal of warm, watered-down ketchup. Now, I'd never make it my first choice, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Mashed potatoes - they just never end and they're bland as shit. It's like eating soaked paper. That's how I felt from the first time I had them, until about age sixteen. Now they're just another side dish.

There's probably more that I just can't remember. Note: I never refused food or 'pouted' - I was never averse to eating a meal when it was served, I just didn't see the appeal in the above. Why the fuck is tomato soup and mashed potatoes considered American pastime cuisine? Peanut butter and jelly, there's another one - how do those flavors mix? How? And how the fuck did everyone afford jelly?

Anyway, the only think I can't truly stomach, (although I've not eaten everything this world has to offer) is cottage cheese. It's difficult, though not impossible, for me to imagine a worse combination of texture and flavor that can hit your tongue. Even though it's a great weapon in your arsenal when getting lean, I cannot stomach it without my body trying to throw it back up.

Now, everything else that I've encountered, I will eat - especially if it's made and served by someone else. Someone actually took the time to think of me and my survival, the necessary consumption of nutrients to keep me alive, and I'm going to say no? I don't think so.

The level of hate towards him is always award-worthy, considering his supposed crime is just making "crappy" music.
Why settle for disdain? Nothing makes us happier than overblown hyperbole (redundant?).
If disdain is what people had for the guy, I would've said so.
Have you seen the video of a shoe being thrown at him onstage? Look at the comments, people are saying they wish it was a bomb, or they would've gone on stage to kick his ass personally.
People go to his videos just to post comments about how much he sucks.
The top comments on any video often have to do with something about Justin Beiber or his fans.
I remember one time, a big rumor spread that he had died. You don't just do that for kicks.

So yeah, maybe hatred was a little too strong (I wasn't really thinking of word choice as I was typing that, I ain't gonna lie) but disdain on the other hand is way too mild.
...That was my point :| It's not enough for people to just simply dislike something and move on with their lives... they have to REALLY hate it, and it's like collective hate causes some kind of weird feedback loop where it just gets stronger and stronger until people lose all sense of perspective and their target (in this case Bieber) becomes something more than simply an annoying human being and becomes some weird entity of cultural disgust and hatred. I was using the world redundant to refer to my own use of the phrase "overblown hyperbole" because really, I think those words mean about teh same thing in this case.

We agree with each other, I just didn't make that obvious :D

certain bands/songs....so linkin park are whiny and emo? well mabye but I still enjoy their sound (oh and linkin parks new album)
Same here to this day I'm still a fan of Linkin park old and new stuff.

I didn't mind Too Human,Alone on the Dark,Silent Hill:Homecoming and Dark Sector. To me all of these games were a lot fun even though everyone else hates them.
so what did you think of a thousand suns? because "generally" Im struggling to see the what the big deal is..hell "minuted to midnight" seems to be eve more different to their "old" stuff (but to be fair I dont think Ive listened to enough of their stuff to be able to get a clear picutre of their change in sound)

and hell I REALLY enjoyed some of their Thousand suns stuff...Catalyst, Blackout, when they come for me...(more so than minutes to midnight)

Smells. Because, like, my sense of smell doesn't work right.
Neither does mine ... people would be in a car with me going `omg wtf can't you smell that skunk??? It's terrible, can't you smell it?' and I'm like `ynope.'
Hey, that actually happened! Everyone else at a relative's house were being kept up by skunk smell and I was fast asleep like nothin' happened. This is not to say that it interferes with my ability to taste, though. See, the idea that the nose governs all ability to taste seems wrong when you consider the nature of the tongue. Smell enhances, but so far as I know, it doesn't govern. I really only miss out on the things I should be consciously aware of. It's a bit of an "I WIN" button.

I tend to like stuff other people don't, like certain movies and character.

Music-wise, I don't mind Nickleback, and I'm a big fan of Linkin Park (both their new and old albums, actually).

Oerba Dia Vanille from FFXIII I honestly didn't find her as annoying as most people did.
Extend that to FFXIII in general, and thats my answer. But you'd need to extend the question to "What does everyone find to be the spawn of Satan aside from you?"

Music like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hxnCXuTo4w

Behold... The Arctopus' Alcoholocaust off their Nano-nucleonic cyborg summoning album.

I was listening to another one of their songs loud enough for the entire house to hear it. I wondered why no one asked me what the heck I was listening too.
