Too Human... I had heard so much about the development of that game, the techno nose myth aspect made me so happy and then i finally played it and... Well lets just say i have never been more disappointed in anything.
I forgot about this one...if Final Fantasy XIII was complete and only on the PS3, there may have been a Zoo/Casino thing but that horrible combat system would have stuck around...probably...Keiichi Morisato said:Final Fantasy XIII, when it was FINALLY released it was shit, thanks impart for it going multi-platform.
Now that you mention it...I have fewer memories of Black/White than any other generation. Silver was my favorite but I still remember getting a lot more time out of Sapphire and, Diamond than I did with Black/White. Fingers crossed that X/Y will bring back a secret base at least.soandnb said:Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.
This was advertised to be the "next-generation of Pokemon! With sexy new features!!!"
What I ended up getting was a couple of dynamic camera angles at the expense of many features that gave the series variety; little distractions that allowed one to take a break from battling (which, even in BW, is limited; you can only battle most trainers one time) to become absorbed in, say, gambling off your money, participating in contests, or making a secret base. There just wasn't much to do. Postgame was pretty bad, too. Overall the game lacked any sort of personality.
sorry what movie?? i only know of three indy films and they were pretty great!Agent 45 said:Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Man, I looked forward to that movie so much...
Incorrect.SonOfVoorhees said:Also Insidious, that movie was a complete joke after you got half way through the movie.
Can't believe I didn't bring the Hobbit up. The Azog/Thorin slow-mo showdown was eyeroll-worthy.Glongpre said:The Hobbit. Too much comedy and cgi for me. Going from LOTR to that is like...the fuck? Why did they do that....
Also, Thorin getting his head bashed by a huge mace but it's k. Really put the last nail in the coffin for me.
It had nothing to do with going multi platform. It was more like the simplified and ironically confusing battle system, a system of corridors and Metal Gear Solid 2 levels of cutscenery. I just started playing 8 hours ago... I may have spent an hour controlling my character. Win 2 fights, run along, cutscene exposition, repeat.Keiichi Morisato said:Final Fantasy XIII, when it was FINALLY released it was shit, thanks impart for it going multi-platform.

the game takes up like 4-6 Xbox 360 disks because of how big the game is, they had to cut major portions of the game in order to make the game commercially viable for the 360. had the game stayed on a PS3 exclusive the game would have been much better, with an at least decent story, and a much less linear game.FoolKiller said:It had nothing to do with going multi platform. I disagree, I have read up to Angel Exterminatus which is the 23rd book in the HH series and I really like them. The only ones that have been hit or miss for me are the anthologies of short stories. But overall I enjoy them. Seeing the different primarchs and exactly how deluded, prideful, insane and noble they are really helps me to understand how the legions progressed. Some of the books in my opinion have been too short, a few too long but really to encompass a galaxy wide civil war would be a momentous undertaking. And no they haven't gotten to the siege of Terra yet, They are telling a lot of back story about the legions and primarchs to help set the stage. I don't want to spoil anything but the first Traitor Primarch just became a Daemon-prince. The rest of them except for Lorgar, Fulgrim and Horus are just beginning to see what Chaos is really. I have been reading the books and playing the games since 2004 when I discovered WH40k Dawn of War.thaluikhain said:Yeah, I've been into 40k for maybe 10 years before they came out. They've had some really good tangential stuff about the Heresy in the past.sir neillios said:Really? I'm actually curious how old you are and how long you've been into 40k, personally I got into the hobby in my early teens, and I think the first novel came out that same year. I'll admit they are a mixed bag, some absolute stinkers, a couple gems mostly mediocre. But I can see how much of a letdown they would be if you had spent years in the hobby, and heard that the most legendary event in the lore was getting a book release.thaluikhain said:The Horus Heresy series from Black Library.
IMHO, the BL was going downhill already, and there seemed to be a lack of effort on some people's parts with the HH series, and they got really, really dragged out. Have they released a book about the Ultimate Gate yet? Cause that's what people wanted when the thing was first mentioned.
Agreed, but I would add the entire 13 series. 13-2 while better the story and ending were complete garbage.Keiichi Morisato said:Final Fantasy XIII, when it was FINALLY released it was shit, thanks impart for it going multi-platform.
