Sleeveless shirts always seemed douchey to me. Probably because everyone I know who wears them is a douche.

Another favourite is the baseball cap on backwards! To anyone over the age of 8, this should be a universal rule. Don't do it!
I'm 21 and I will continue to do this because I actually look better with the hat on backwards than it on properly.

Yes, I have been told this by other people, it is not just my opinion.

OT: Nothing, you can wear whatever the hell you want. I won't judge.

Hell, I wear cutoff jean shorts (made from my old jeans), a band shirt (usually something pop/punk or Coheed and Cambria), Adidas Sambas, and a backwards black baseball cap. I like the way I look and don't at all care what other people think.

I wish the world had more of a mind like mine... At least in this instance.

Anything from hot topic.
Agreed, but they do have some cool sci-fi and video game shirts...
...that are sold for their ironic value.

Also, Tapout shirts make me unhappy, as well as Those really sparkly shirts that some guys wore at the middle school I went to (between middle and high right now, hard to state that easily).

Fie on you sir!! I wear my crocs with pride out of sheer utility. They even gave me a real life +2 to my acrobatics check when I was crossing a fast-flowing river channel over mossy rocks.

Girls wearing their sunglasses on top of their hair (as in like a hat or headband).
...Huh, never heard of that being disliked. I put my sunglasses on top of my head whenever I'm running into a store or something, just so I don't have to worry about putting 'em in my purse and then fishing them back out again in two minutes. Now I'm going to have to run a guy-friend poll to see if this is a common dislike... not that it'll make me stop doing it, of course.

OT: Those plastic sunglasses with the grating-type things over the eyes rather than some sort of actual glass just irk me.

Also, Crocs. They're godawfully ugly, in my opinion.

And, last but certainly not least, gage piercings. Talk about an instant turn-off. I have yet to see anyone with gage piercings that actually make it look good. Or even "decent." To me, it just looks universally horrible.

vintage stuff annoys me, people who gloat because they found all their clothing at a 2nd hand clothing store like it makes them a better person or something.

Jeans and sandals or flip flops. no, just no.

Popped collars, makes you a douche.

Girls who wear their hair in buns in public, ugh.

Non islander people with tribal tattoos.

That's all I can think of at the moment

Skinny Jeans...

I mean, doesn't that crap make you sterile,
Slimcut jeans and some skinny jeans are far more appealing than boot cut jeans. In the 18-25 age circle in this country, if you wear boot cut jeans you look like an old man. Everyone wears fitted jeans, and I love slimcut jeans on guys. But I do agree, real skinny leg jeans can be an awful sight.
what if you actually wear boots with your boot cut jeans? and i don't mean fancy boots either (which i can't stand btw) but like work boots for hard labor and the like.

Obviously that's a different case. I'm talking about people who wear them out on the town.

Jeans with running shoes is another one!
I think the bigger issue here is wearing running shoes casually, Americans are especially awful with it. Unless you're playing sports or something, leave the trainers at home and wear some casual shoes.

And anything on People of Walmart, sorta goes without saying. Walmartians are a big DO NOT WANT.
not all "casual" shoe offer the same support for your arches as trainers do.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!
PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC (E.X. people wearing running shoes for arch support and not for running... or do you hate them for that as well?) OR YOU WILL JUST COME OFF AS AN ASSHOLE.... in my opinion anyway, carry on! ;p

EVERYONE wears hoodies. The only hoodie I have is a vinyl jacket with a hood, but everyone at my school seems to own at least three.
What's wrong with hoodies?

They're comfy and warm.

OT: I've never like wife beaters or those shirts with no sides on them. They always look incredibly douchey.

I'm also not a fan of paying exorbitant amounts of money on a pair of shoes. Seriously, you can go to Walmart and get similar shoes for twenty bucks. Why the hell would you spent $60-200 (yes, I have friends who do) on shoes?

Oh you know what I hate most of all? You guys ever heard of David and Goliath? They make these t-shirts with the most ironic themes. Themes which imply the wearer is a nerd or niche, though they're worn as fasion items.

Another thing is something my sister is famous for are these great big jangly bracelets. They act as cow bells, she can't move without alerting someone to her presence. Also those great big bug eye glasses, I've got my mother and both sisters wearing those and I just... they do not look good o_O

I doubt it's a common dislike. It's just that 95% of all the girls around here who do that are completely self-absorbed and vapid, so i've projected my dislike of their personalities onto this feature so many of them have in common. I wouldn't sweat it, were i you.

Here is a place where we share fashion that "just ain't cool, man!".

We all like to vent about people wearing ridiculous things. What do you find really unappealing in fashion?

Personally, I always thought that there was nothing worse than wearing sunglasses inside. Until I saw someone wearing sports sunglasses inside. The sight was unbearable.

Sports sunglasses are also generally not cool to me either. They scream 1990s and I haven't seen anyone outside the sport field that has pulled them off without looking like a try hard. Don't wear them!

Another favourite is the baseball cap on backwards! To anyone over the age of 8, this should be a universal rule. Don't do it!

Jeans with running shoes is another one!

And any form of baggy clothing!

So that is my rough list. What can the escapists add to it?

To discuss:

What is an everyday fashion item you see and just can't stand the sight off?
Oh good god man... I want to meet you in real life just so I can see the look of sheer disgust on your face when you see me.

I am the antithesis of fashion.. Repping Oakley PIT BOSS sunglasses, Railriders/Woolritch/5.11 cargos, all manner of boots and everything from polos to combat shirts to Arc'teryx/T.A.D softshells. I've included links so you can taste the horror yourself.

I was driving through a town square once and I saw a guy wearing his pants down low so you could see his boxers. But it gets worse. They were like pajama pants or sweat pants or something. THEY HAD AN ELASTIC BAND! There's not even an excuse for that. Just wanted to stop and mock him. I was wearing some Tripp pants, too. So yeah.
