The willingness of people to turn the most inane bullshit into some kind of agenda.

People's willingness to generalize others. ("Well, unlike all those X-ers, not all Y-ers are bad.")[footnote]And just to get the Pokémon joke outta the way: What, you're saying Xerneas is worse than Yveltal? Screw you![/footnote]

Seeing and hearing some people act as if it's entirely my fault if I get angry about being insulted or irritated by people throwing tantrums at me. (Exhibit A: My brother. If he flips his shit at me and I retort, he acts super offended and asks me what the hell my problem is) Also, acting as if everything is my fault if something goes wrong between me and somebody else and people always being right while I'm always wrong.

Me getting interrupted. It happens so often it's not even funny. And my mom either not listening fully to what I'm saying or just not understanding what I'm saying.

Also, tumblr people complaining about SJW on tumblr. (As a side note, I'm fairly certain that a lot of these so-called SJW posts are made by trolls to exaggerate political correctness and make other people look bad. Yeah, Poe's law and all that, but still...) I guess it doesn't really count as I'm not shocked by it, but I've discovered that I've stopped growing annoyed at it. At most, I just roll my eyes, sigh and move on to something else.

I'm not surprised at any of the stuff you would find in the regular parts of the internet anymore. Oh look, gaming controversy. I don't even care to open the article and i've forgotten it within the same 30 seconds. My brain just refuses to look at it seriously. Like Warcraft names! At least half of them are such overpronounced crap that roll off the tongue so awfully that my mind reads it as something else and I add an I or two in the names to make them easier to pronounce (Alextrazia over Alextraza.)

Anyway back on topic, I browse around on the more weird sites like 4chan just because they're funny and unpredictable over there. The random stories people may or may not be bullshitting you with there are interesting and there are some truly great oneliners on /a/

"Yeah Naruto would have been good still if Kishimoto hadn't gotten addicted to hardcore crystal meth halfway through the Chuunin Exam Arc."

Also i'm never surprised that any and all Riven players in a game of League are total dickheads, at the very least 9/10 of them are. It's actually expected of them to go afk after feeding first blood because they tried a level 1,2 or 3 tower dive or cry for ganks before your jungler has even gotten his buffs THEN go afk because he's ignoring your shit and helping bot lane instead. Seriously. Gank bot, Riven'll see the jungler's face on the kill feed, realise that bot is opposite to top so she bitches why are you not helping me instead so "I no play gg noob junglre never gank i afk"

Nothing really surprises me anymore.

Especially when it comes to the internet and pointless drama and change.

Christ alive.

The shootings here in the U.S. I remember when they were rare, and when they did happen, they were national news and were talked about for weeks.

Now though? Every time I log on to Facebook, it seems that one of the Trending Stories is about another crazy person with a gun shooting a bunch of people. I still get sad and disgusted, but I'm not surprised anymore. I've come to accept it as just a part of living here now, which is really sad.

The lengths that people will go to in an effort to both look cool, and to convince people that they don't care. It's the sort of crap that should end when you're 17.

Not many things I encounter can notably surprise me, especially if it is on the internet.

Rule 34 for the most part gets a response from of "well that exists on the internet". It is pretty rare for me to be shocked or surprised by it. I have played text based game called coc and was not disturbed by it. I just found to be pretty full of strange things with some other merits to it that makes it a decent text based game.
The infinite potential of stupidity never surprises me and People being asshole when is a situation when people can be anonymous is a normal.
It is a very long list.

To me, it's any character deaths in comicbooks.

Since comicbooks are not base on real life (ok maybe a few like Kick Ass), a dead character can be brought back to life thus it loose its impact and meanings in that comicbook.

Sure it used to be a shock and an impact like Jason Todd, Nightcrawler, Cable etc but they usually bring they back thinking it will be a twist or that they realise it was a bad idea to killed that character off.

Ok sure some death are permament but it usually depend on the character popularity (we never saw the return of the first Thunderstrike or Freedom Ring) or minor character pretty much stayed dead forever. Heck even the unpopular Sentry did return in a way well if I had read his wiki correctly.

These days it is pretty much a waiting game or bet to see a dead character return (Jean Grey and Wolverine).

The only real surprises life tosses at me at this point are when really good things happen. That doesn't say as much as you'd think: I'm a dreadful pessimist and have been since I was a pre-teen.

?We?re racist, we?re racist and that?s the way we like it?. Ladies and gentleman, stupidity. I am no long surprised at this because for some reason, people like this get so much attention.

Yes, somewhere out there, there will be someone on the internet, hidden behind a username, will defend this and utter the phrase, "Freedom of Speech".

Pretty much everything, except certain grammatical mistakes. Something about how trivial they are makes them more surprising.

Pretty much this.

OT I've gone numb to the fact that school shootings have become an almost common occurrence here in the States as well as the whole situation with ISIS. To be frank I gave up on caring long ago.

Another week, another UKIP PR blunder. So it goes. When I first heard about some ridiculous thing one of their members had done I thought 'Thank fuck, that's the end of that lot then!', but some time after the time one of them blamed floods on gays (or was it the 'bongo-bongo land' comment?) I just started expecting it every week.

Ugh, I know exactly how that feels to hear somebody use 'Freedom of Speech!' or 'Censorship!' as a shield for their vile behavior. I'm not surprised by it, but it does piss me off.

Christians expecting special treatment compared to everyone else, seriously... You are no different from hindus, buddhists, taoists, pagans or anyone else. Please stop expecting society to cater to your every whim just because you once murdered your way to the top, it is not a moral high ground.

White middle class cis feminists complaining that they are not being pandered to enough and that minorities are stealing the spotlight from them. Girls, it isn't a popularity contest (at least is is not supposed to be).
As an aside, those two are almost the same thing. Endless annoying, though, and not shocking, yeah.

Anything bad or wrong. No matter how horrible.

What would really surprise me would be a politician actually working for the benefit of major part of population.
