The best scene from the Fresh Prince. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxulantPiXI] Really makes me get all misty eyed every time. I challenge you to watch that and not well up even a little.
I agree. This is actually sad, because it's convincing. Will Smith is such a good actor.

I always thought The Muppets were scary when I was little...

As far as I can remember only once in my entire life I have shed tears:
the time I watched Rurouni Kenshin OVAs 1-2.
The ending of no.1 is not something you'd want to experience firsthand... ever.

I've gone misty eyed in a couple of movies but probably the only one I've actually cried at is Armageddon.

*Spoiler*

Where Bruce Willis is left behind and blows up the asteroid because I remember watching it and imagining leaving my dad behind in his place and having the ship come back without him on it. Very heavy stuff and it's stuck with me for all the years after watching it and I still can't watch it without crying.

Nothing makes me cry except close family death.
The one thing that gets me closest is the cover of Hurt by Johnny cash, along with the video.
Others to a lesser degree are ballsack punching, Green Mile and pet death.

The last 4-6 or so episodes of the anime series Wolf's Rain made me tear up so bad that I had to go get some paper towels in the kitchen. It was just so, so sad and beautiful at the same time, i was ambushed by all the emotion. I'm pretty sure the people who've watched the series can somehow relate, and if you haven't watched it, do it.

Sorry, didn't cry at the Muppets, I barely cry, but I'm a cynical, emotional wreck so no wonder... However, recently watching Bolt realy gave me 'misty eyes'

I wanted to post that one as well, it's 1 of the few things where I ever shed a tear (other then being in terrible amounts of pain when I was a little kid, that doesn't count). I didn't even shed a tear when my grandpa died, although I was maybe 8 at the time, nor when my first great grandmother died when I was 12 or something, nor when my óther great grandmother died when I was 15 or something (yea think that's about 3 years ago now). Not even the cat I grew up with from birth to my 15th died while we were on our way home from holiday, the cat that lied beside me while I was a baby. I didn't shed a tear. But the brave little kiwi...that really got to me.

Yeah that song was crappy. I could tell why some people would cry when they watch the video with it, but mostly it was just stupid emotional bullshit that some idiot came up with. I like muppets as much as the next guy sure... Though I was also the one who wanted to know what it would be like to set Animal on fire. As far as the test of having a soul being based on this video I would reccomend you change it to a simple question. Have you ever been happy that someone you know died? If yes then you don't have a soul.

No words on this Earth can describe what I just saw.

The one time I did tear up from something was when i watching "Saving Private Ryan" and they were all in that one church.

Wayne? was explaining to the guys about how he would pretend to lay asleep at night when his mom would hurry home excitedly just to talk to him, but had to settle for stroking his hair as not to wake him.

All she wanted to do was talk to her son...

sniffles*

This book called "I Will Always Love You". It's a children's book about this kid who's dog dies. My mother bought it years ago to make my brothers feel better about their dog that just died. It's safe to say that it didn't work. In fact, it made the situation much worse. I always refer to it as the worst book ever because it's so damn depressing.

Wow, some of the best acting I've seen from the younger Will Smith.
