So, earlier a friend of mine linked me to this image

And it quite literally blew my mind..I'm not sure if this is some really old comparison but I've only just seen it and I'll never be able to look at the symbol the same way again

So my question is, Have any of you experienced this feeling of having your mind blown by an image or video? I'm interested to hear what all of you say :D

Not by an image or video, but I found out yesterday that Armin Shimmerman, the man behind the makeup of Quark in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the principal in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, was the voice of Andrew Ryan in the Bioshock games. Didn't even realize that while I was playing.

That's the most recent one I can think of.

Hooooleeeee shit, you're right! I thought I knew that nasally voice from somewhere!

As for the Half Life thing, it's actually more clever than you think. The first thing you see is the lambda symbol, which itself is used to represent the half life of radioactive material. That it looks like a crowbar, and that the crowbar is the signature weapon of the game gives it a double meaning.

I think the lastest holy crap moment for me was finding out, the abandoned cars in Fallout 3 were actual designs for nuke powered cars that never came to be.

Hmm, one of the biggest ones for me, though it was years back now, was finding out that Luke Skywalker voiced the original Joker. (I know it's actually very common knowledge, forgive me, I live under a rock) :p

He also voiced Wolverine in the X2 video game, and I "think" he even voiced the same character in the X-men cartoon.

His nose wouldn't grow. Then after a moment, it would grow. See, he said 'now', which is actually a fixed period of time (2 seconds, according to scientific consensus). So he is saying 'My nose will grow within two seconds', which we can't actually be sure of until these two seconds pass. After these two seconds, it becomes untrue, and his nose grows.

The Pinocchio paradox never takes into consideration that he might merely be "wrong". Especially considering the parable was about 'intentionally lying'.

I said it when I saw Blizzard announcing LAN support. Then I boo'd when I read it wasn't really LAN support.

I live in the US of A, so you can imagine the idiocy that my country displays on a daily basis.

Then I happened upon this article: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/uk-police-issue-witness-statement-character-peaches-dog-203049574.html

Holy shit! We aren't the only ones who do extraordinarily dumb things that deserve mocking and ridicule. Way to go, Peach!

Those gifs that show off the size of the universe, amazes me every single time. Just how small and insignificant our planet is compared to those around us.

The level of breathtaking ignorance present in the minds of people who are supposed to be screened for their intelligence. I expect to overhear ignorance on the subway, anybody could be on the train. But guys whose job it is to shape policy and write laws? They still talk like this: http://www.policymic.com/articles/26903/joe-salazar-rape-comment-women-don-t-need-guns-even-if-they-fear-sexual-assault/378869

The time a super mutant in Fallout 2 punched me and my death animation was for the repeating shotgun, where huge chunks of my body were torn away incrementally; the only conclusion I could come to was that the mutant had been trained by Kenshiro, and I had just been hit with a Hokuto secret technique.
