Mainly the whiteboy rap-kids.

You've got to admit, they look hilarious coming down the street if they try to look "gangsta" while walking.

I think it is funny you say that.....so many people make fun of "wangsta" or white people that act "black".....popular black culture really has nothing to do with being black as much as it does being from poor urban areas. These poor urban people (usually black) become rappers and hip hop artist and get rich but don't abandon where they come from. People from across the entire race adopt it as style and the way to act and represent whether they are from poor urban areas in the first place or not. The funny thing really is that white people in poor urban areas usually dress the same damn way and always have. They act that way and always have. When you are surrounded by violence and poverty you act a certain way regardless of race.

Now a white kid walking down the street in middle class suburbia all in baggy clothes may seem different but aren't they entitled to dress and act the way they want to. Marshal Mathers did and he is filthy rich now.

I also hate how the whole assumption is that these white kids are trying to be hard when they are not and trying to be something they aren't as if only black people can dress like that and like rap music or act "gangsta".

I know some of these "whiteboy rap-kids" you called them....that put people in the dirt. so next time you go around making fun of these guys I would remember that for ever 20 fake ass people there is one real ass dude that doesn't give two shits about the consequences but does care about being disrespected.

The people that really don't give a shit what other people think of them are usually in the library working their ass off so don't give me that junk. People dress and act like that because it gives them a sense of group identity; for example poor kids are less likely to have a prominent father figure (please don't ***** me out about that generality I'm not trying to say all poor kids have dead beat dads so don't even bother or I will snap) so they get a sense of male camaradarie and belonging from a group of friends instead of a family structure.

Cares about being disrespected is more accurate, not that I really understand that, maybe I'm too middle class and don't care if people disrespect me because I feel morally superior.
