I like my feet or my face, though i hate feet and people anywhere near my own.

The sound of whispers. I duno why i like it its kinda creepy to begin with but then very relaxing. There is even a channel on youtube for it, called the WhisperingVoice

...Good Gravy that's actually relaxing. Thank you for sharing this.

OT: Soothing music, like this:

A bit weirder might be my enjoyment of some of Alex Gray's work.

Just nice to look at.

I looooove watching kids shows. (Good ones.) Its nostalgic, and some of them are surprisingly good. I'd almost say I enjoy Teen Titans more now than I did ten years ago. Its how even though I wouldn't call myself a brony, when my friends watch the show, I still have fun. .... or does that mean I am one?

On topic, Ranma 1/2. There isn't heavy continuity, its just goofy fun, and as much as I love dark and gritty shows, I always feel I can procrastinate watching something like this rather than having work hang over my head when I'm trying to watch something serious.

OT: As well as the aforementioned rain, one thing that soothes me is.....aircraft. Seriously. If I'm lying in bed early in the morning and a helicopter or aeroplane flies overhead, the sound of the rotors/engines will just knock me right back to sleep.

Mother of God. That's really awesome. I replaced the Godot theme with Red Velvet from Katawa Shoujo, which is one of my favourite smooth jazz songs, and it was just... heaven.

OT: In addition to smooth jazz and the sound of rain, getting my hair touched gently and played with by someone I trust is quite relaxing. In fact, physical contact with another person in general is either really stressful or really relaxing for me, with no real middle ground. It depends on whether or not I trust and am comfortable with the person.

Haircuts.

I love getting a haircut so much that even my awkward and inevitable failure to describe the haircut that I want (and have been getting my entire life) can't ruin the experience.

Burning sandalwood sticks while listening to Buddhist chants. An amazing, unforgettable experience that soothes you to the core of your soul.

Thank you so very much, sooooooooo relaxing. Now the only thing I need is an instrumental of Miracle Of Sound's Sweet L.A and it would be spot on.

I don't know why, but the Simple Plan song "I'm Just a Kid" tends to make me content. Not even in a schadenfreude way or anything, I just feel a little happier for reasons I can't explain.

It's hardly weird, but I love the sound of rain.

Nothing soothes me more than listening to this site [http://www.rainymood.com/] with my eyes closed.
Bookmarked, thanks.

When I'm in need of "mellowing out", or just calming down, four things tend to work best for me.

1: Going for a swim or taking a hot bath - Just the sensation of being immersed in water, the almost-weightlessness of it, I find soothing.

2: Experiencing the weather - This usually only pertains to certain weather conditions. Those being a rainy spring morning, thunderstorms, snowfall at night, or a chilly, windy autumn evening.

3: Music - Not all music, mind you, but certain songs.

4: Playing video games - Like music, only certain games relax me. Usually tried-and-true favorites. Like Half-Life, Homeworld, Hexic HD, Doom 2, Metroid Prime, Starcraft, Smash Bros, Perfect Dark, etc, etc.

the way to relax for me, if I were in a perfect world?

Fresh bed sheets. A good book. A heater underneath, and one hell of a rainstorm going on outside, I love the sound of rain hitting the roof. Also a good Cello/piano song going on loudspeakers. All this after a nice warm shower. I've done it a few times, and by god there is no better feeling.

Things that relax me are the things described above, and strangely, foot cramps. The feeling of intense pain, then the sheer relief of it ending, and not even close to as painful as a leg cramp.

Oh and anything on Cry Plays: X game here. That guy is so awesome.
I agree with you about his awesomeness, but anything?

Skip to 11:46 for what I'm talking about. That laugh is nightmare fuel. Completely amazing acting though!

OT: Wearing a hoodie. I'm that weirdo who wears hoodies all the time, even in the summer. I like being able to zip up the front, pull down my sleeves over my hands, and just enjoy the softness. That...sounds really weird but it makes sense to me.

Also I second Cry's videos, but more his Cry Reads for me. His voice is so soothing when he gets really into what he's reading, even if the story is really creepy. Also his Ib playthrough, The music + his voice + Garry= amazing

(I feel like such a fangirl for posting two of his videos :D)

Bluetack. I know really weird but just rolling it around and squishing it in my hand is really relaxing.
