I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the state of Ohio that enjoys reading, writing, and viewing pictures of monster girls. You ask "what is a monster girl?" Let me show you.

This is a monster girl
This one is called a Jinko and is one of the more "human" looking ones. There are some that are more monster than girl, but they are half nude so...

Yeah, I have never meet someone besides me who likes these out of anime and hentai forums.

I am probably one of the few people who really cares that Link stays left-handed in Zelda games and games like Smash Bros. I've seen lots of other fans who feel the same way, but my feelings can be a bit intense on the topic. When a new Zelda game is announced, when the new Link appears, my eyes will be focused on his hands automatically. Also, whenever I see a fan art, the first thing I will do is look to see what hand he holds his sword in, or what shoulder it's slung over. We southpaws have to look out for one another you know!

I am probably the biggest fan of the Pokemon Reshiram. I've collected over 300 of them off the in-game GTS by trading Gibles for about a year now. It's more of a habit now, I check my multiple fifth gen games every three days or so and there's a new one waiting for me. I'll admit I have a bit of a problem. >.>

I've seen others say it's one of their favorites, but without a doubt I am probably its biggest fan.

What am I doing with my life?!

Before I was on the Internet and in High School, I thought I was a rare person for having broad tastes in games, used to joke that my tastes ranged from Kingdom Hearts to Call of Duty.

And now I have yet to find some one who has game tastes that is everything except sports games.

Like if some one likes RPG's they mat prefer JRPG's or WRPG's and other various divisions withing a genre, like my only dislikes are on a per game basis, where as it is common to not like a certain series or genre.
I'm the same way. And I do play the occasional hockey game, but I'm not really into the other sports, and they don't have any story, so you know... meh.

I also have a very broad taste in music. I listen to folk, electronic/ambient, all kinds of rock & metal, classical, jazz, blues, rap, hip hop, whatever the hell Mogwai is, even some country and pop. Underground rap/hip hop is great, but everyone associates rap and hip hop with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne, so they don't like it. Artists like them are a fucking disgrace.

Never understood why people limit themselves ro only a few genres. Give me ALL THE MUSIC!

What else... oh, according to Last.FM, I've clocked in about 8,400 listens to Warren Zevon. Which is about 6,000 more than my next favorite artist (Yes.) That's kind of rare, right?

Actually, that looks... rather furry. Are you sure you're not referring to anthros?

OP: I must be the only person who acts like... The only person who seems to a hybrid of polar opposites in terms of both physical and mental characteristics. I can be a real dude-bro and at the same time, I can be a real nerd. I'm really smart, and at the same time I'm really stupid. I'm a freaking jerk and at the same time, I'm a saint. I want to act civil, and at the same time I want to act feral.

I know this all sounds rather general and/or weird but it's the truth. I'm often paralyzed by seeing both sides of an issue on top of all this.

Sorry to burst your bubble. I'm not a vegetarian as a rule, I'll eat meat if it's in food that I otherwise like, but I never eat meat for the meat, and there are some kinds of meat such as chicken that I simply cannot tolerate no matter what form it's in.

To the best of my knowledge, I am the only person who has written a sci-fi story about a narcoleptic. Highly specific, but at least it is unique to me and me alone.

A quick search on amazon lets me know that... no, you really aren't. There are a disturbingly large amount of novels about narcoleptics, from sci-fi to rom-com.

Sorry.

I sincerely believe that I'm one of the few people that reads an entire thread before posting it. When people post a response to something that may have been discussed, clarified, or what have you, it makes me die a little bit on the inside.

This probably explains my post count.

Strange. I would have thought that would be an overwhelmingly uncommon topic. Especially in a sci-fi setting. Ah well, then I am just another member of the boring, non-unique mob. Go team.

On the other hand, I was referring to more of a space opera style of thing, rather than anything about vampires and necrophiliacs. Wow, these novels are utterly horrifying if you read the descriptions.

I knew a guy in high school who always requested the vegetarian option just because he didn't like the taste of meat. He didn't give a shit about the ethics of eating meat (he was a farmer's kid), just didn't like it.

OT: I'm the only person I know who enjoys Symphonic metal/rock (e.g. Within Temptation) but detests any and all metal with male scream vocals.

I have really random music tastes in general.

I became ambidextrous through training with toy swords so I could pull off a cosplay of him when I was a kid. I too am SPR SRS about the issue, and it disappointed me when Skyward Sword didn't even have left-handedness as an option for Link. I mean, for fuck's sake, my left hand is my good sword hand now! all they had to do was mirror the damn model and animations and have it as a selectable option, but they didn't, the jerks.

Am I the only one who is sitting at my desk right now? Huh? Am I?

Am I the only who is drinking this specific bottle of tea? I mean, come on, people!

Am I the only one who is typing this very sentence? It can't possibly just be me!

And seriously, am I the only one who left out the word "one" in the second sentence in this list of satirical "am I the only one" questions? And are YOU the only one who didn't notice it? Yes, YOU. There, sitting in that chair! I see you! Don't think I don't!

I think I 'might' be the only one who doesn't like the taste of bacon. It's not the meat thing, I just don't care for the taste at all.

Also, I don't think I'm the only one but I want to put in something relevant to gaming, out of all of the people I know I'm the only one who thinks that Metal Gear Solid 4 was a poor ending to the series.

I'm the only one who uses "Vegosiux" as their Escapist username, that much I am sure.

As for interests and opinions, I doubt there are any that would be specific to me, luckily. But of course, "Am I the only one around here...?" sometimes applies when I have the Sunday morning shift, as I'm literally the only one around there.

Kindred spirit! Whenever I get the vegetarian option, people always ask me if I'm a vegetarian, and sometimes can't seem to comprehend that I could chooses to eat something without meat in it when given the choice. I've always thought meat didn't taste much of anything, and while I have nothing against it, I'd much rather eat things which are full of flavour like fruits and vegetables.

Also as far as I can tell, I'm the only person who thought breaking bad was shit.
