Gameead Rising; Zombies. Nothing would weed out the weak AND solve our overpopulation problem like a good old zombie horde. A REAL zombie horde! None of that "Hey look at us run fast and climb walls" bullshit.
Book:'Gotrek and Felix' novels, The Runemaster's Axe of the lost dwarven horde of Karag Dum. That axe is so bad ass I can't even express it in words. [Highly suggest you read up on it if you actually want to know.
So yeah. Magnet gun to fend of foolish raiders that want my stuff, zombies to keep to weak and the stupid from ruining the world any more, and a mega axe that is pretty much perfect, for the pesky zombies that get to me.

Transporter technology. I think that every single time I'm running late for my train--"Why, why haven't we developed transporter technology yet?!"
Lightsabers, the TARDIS, the Sonic Screwdriver, the Laser Screwdriver, DX-12 blasters (that's a standard issue Stormtrooper rifle, BTW), teleprtation device, the Kinesis glove from Dead Space...I could go on, but you get the drift.

I'd like to see reasonable alternatives to all the things that are harming the environment or in some way inhumane.
I'm thinking; transport, manufacturing, waste disposal, electricity/energy, farming/land usage, meat/poultry/egg/dairy/etc. farming, and so on.
