I'm sure we all have something that's just a little (or a lot) embarrassing to admit to people, but you do it anyway, so I'm here to ask, "What is it that you're so ashamed of?"

And remember, with the wonderful gift of internet anonymity that has been bestowed upon us by the almighty Cthulhu, there's really no shame in admitting something here.

One thing I'll admit that I do and have done my whole life is sleeping with a light on. I don't know why I can't do it, but I have to have a light on when I sleep unless there's someone in the bed next to me (preferably cuddling with me). It's just one of those fear of the dark things I've never been able to grow out of. And while I'm hardly ever embarrassed to admit anything, that's just one thing people used to make fun of me for, so I guess that counts.

So, Escapist, what are you embarrassed to admit?

I'm not really embarrassed to admit anything.
That said I don't go randomly sharing every little detail about myself like I used to, because people tend to use it against you.

I have a pretty simple philosophy: If you ask me an honest question, I'll give you an honest answer, even if its really personal.

Hmmmm... Well if we're being honest, and we are partially anonymous...

I admit that I still like Childrens cartoons and TV shows.

Calumon: I admit I need a hug right now.

I am depressed and ashamed to admit that I have listened to, and genuinely enjoyed listening to, a couple of songs by Nickleback.
Overall I'm not a huge fan but some of them I do listen to.

Falling in love with my friend's girlfriend. I will always be ashamed of having done that, cause he was a great friend and I went and ruined it, pretty much completely. She was a great friend too, actually. So were everyone I knew them through (everyone I knew in that town). All ruined.

I'm ashamed to admit that my mother has more dating prospects than I do at the moment... Although I've only been in Florida for a week, hopefully this will change soon.

I'll hug you Calumon <3

It's mostly beacuse I always have this fear that there is noting speical about me and i blend in. I don't want people to know I think that way though. Besides it's probably something you outgrow of since teanagers are so full of angest and such.

I have Nocturnal enuresis, that basically means, at almost 19 years old, I wet the bed unless I sleep sitting up. Thus, I have never fallen asleep after being intimate with a girl.

It's a lot easier explaining it to you all than it is to explain to a girlfriend.

Can I think about it and get back to you? I have had 3 babies so there is very little left to be embarrassed about after that.Actually I do get embarrassed when I hear women in labour grunting and crying I think ''Shut up woman, have some dignity'', I am embarrassed because it is not very tolerant and we all deal differently, but it makes me feel impatient with them if I can hear it. That's pretty mean, right?

Why is that something to be embarrassed about? I watch kids shows almost daily at age 19.

OT: Umm, I'll come back when I have something to be embarrassed about.
