Most of the movements are simple REM (dream stage) intrusions. Unless they are everynight/ making you excessivly tired during the day, you have nothing to worry about right now.

The things i do when i sleep range from twitching myself awake to half waking up and not being able to move, that sucks.
Also sometimes I'll dream that i woke up and got out of bed, than dream that i woke up from that dream, got out of bed again, then wake up for real and get pissed.
On a related note, don't eat several packs of peeps before going to bed, it's not a good idea.
the not being able to move thing happened to me several times and it's terrifying

also my friend once turned off the video game I was playing

I've never been told what I do when i sleep but i have heard some funny stories about people who do.
There was one guy i knew who said one night he woke up with his bum in the air and his hand down his pants.
There was another kid who sleep walks and he spent the night at my house. He got up, grabed the home phone and put it in a frying pan and cooked it. Someone said to him "How's the food looking?" And he mummbled "Mmm Good."
And another guy I knew talks in his sleep and said randomly in his sleep "Sorry for my hairy ass but we need more lemon pleage."
Good times.

Edit: I have nothiced something that has been happening to me for a long time and if someone can please explin it. Sometimes when i'm sleeping I feal like someone is lifting the top part of the bed and i'm about to fall. I open my eyes and my body goes back to a flat state.
that could be due to the loss of natural equilibrium in your sleep during the rem cycle. it's not normal, but it's not uncommon either. if it get's to bad it may be a sign of something worse and you may need to consult a physician...either that or your telepathinc powers are developing XD. but seriously try to sleep sitting up for about a week and see how that works out.
This has been happening for as long as i remember. How can it possibly get worse? And i've tried Telepaphy, I can only get spoons to move.

I just move around alot.

When I was younger, I had a friend staying over. I fell asleep and when I woke up he told me a great story.

"I was playing games, and I saw you keep moving around in your sleep. Then you rolled over really fast and slammed your head into the wall. I thought you'd wake up from the sound or the feeling, but you just stayed asleep."

So...that's where all my brain cells went...

I twitch.

The manner in which I twitch is influenced by the dream I am having.

If I am having a jumping/falling dream (the ones where I dream that I either jump off a ledge or just, for no other reason than to do so, jump really freaking high and then come back down), my legs curl really fast like I am absorbing the shock of landing. I got a bruise on my knee from whacking the dresser next to me like this.

If I am having one of those dreams/nightmares where bugs are crawling on me, I physically try to swat them away, normally waking myself up (but still feeling crawly, irritatingly enough).

The other night I had a dream in which an extremely large guy had grabbed me by the midsection and was burying his fingers into my stomach (by extremely large, I mean that he was doing this with a single hand), I woke up with my stomach in spasms.

I know I'm not the only one who has physical reactions to dreams, but mine definitely seem to be more...enthusiastic.

I tend to lucid dream pretty frequently. Not really sure why, but it's fun, so I'm not complaining.

Aside from that I guess I don't really know. I guess if I sleepwalked or something my family would notice though, so I doubt I do anything like that.

Nightmares. O god, the nightmares.

And they always come in periods. I've been having them for two weeks now...

And apparently, it's not possible to make fall of the bed. I always counter my 'friends' attempts to make me fall off, as long as they're not just pushing me off...

You've just reminded me, I get a lot better at Halo if I fall asleep playing it. A friend and me were playing some Halo 2 split screen and we got pinned down, then suddenly "I" charged out and killed everything in the room single-handedly. My friend looks over to congratulate me and there I am, snoring away.

I really don't know what happened there...

I have a friend that sleep walks, sleep talks, and everything in-between. It's...odd. I've woken up to her doing many odd things.

She once woke me up and demonstrated, using a giant stuffed horse, how to properly groom a horse.
She once tried to pee in a trash can.
She once ran out of the room, screaming about spiders in her bed. Similarly, she once claimed that she lost her pet lizard (she didn't have a lizard) in her bed somewhere. And she was dead serious.
She's randomly said odd things, such as "I can see you" and "It's probably from a video game. Not like that will help much, but you never know." Usually after she says such things, she like...collapses back onto her pillow.
She once threw a water bottle at me in her sleep.

That's a small sample. She's done many odd things in her sleep, and she never remembers any of it.

As for me, I've changed my clothes in my sleep once before. That's the only thing I remember. I remember putting on a certain pair of pajamas one night and when I woke up, I was wearing something completely different and the ones I had put on the night before were at the foot of my bed.
I'm sorry, she threw a water bottle at you in her sleep? lol maybe she's just telling you she can't remember any of it... Maybe THAT'S how O.J. got away with it...

I always cuddle with something.

I'll wake up and I'm always holding something tightly that I wasn't when I fell asleep.

well it can get worse. if you can feel a sense of unblance while your awake, simular to when you spin around for about 5 minutes and the stop and it seems that the room is spining when you stop. if that happens while your awake several times it may be caused by slight brain damage you were not aware of, like too much pressure on the brain caused by swelling or perhaps a past concussion you may have had may have not healed correctly. or a chemical imbalace. if this dizziness begins to happen and happens 2-3 times while you awake over a period of months i suggest you consult a physician immediatly and likely they may give you an x-ray or ct scans. if you don't get checked out if and when these symtoms occur. then they may worsen to sudden spasms or twitches in you apendages or eyes. i hope this helps

(Note: ONLY do this if you begin exhibiting these symptoms in the ways i have given above.)

A friend of mine minds children for a living and apparently one of them randomly beings to cry in her sleep, quite loudly and heavily and when she wakes up the kid has no idea why. They've ascertained she has nightmares but doesn't know how to deal with them.

I myself apparently talk nonsense in my sleep and often start grinning which is weird. Dreaming makes us do the strangest things.

My family says that i talk in my sleep, mumbling or saying/shouting random words so they don't know what i'm saying. This is quite occasional but i don't shout much anymore...

Weird...

I've actually always wanted to record myself when I sleep, for example some times I'll go to sleep on one side of the bed and the next morning I'll literally wake up on the wrong side of the bed!!

lol my girlfriend told me that I have conversations in my sleep sometimes with the pillow and sometimes I just spew an incomprehensible slurry of cursewords.
