Modern music trends for sure. I could care less about the new pop, rap, and rock songs coming out of the wood work. I have negative interest in that stuff.
Maybe that's your cue to try different things! I only suggest this because I'm a music nerd and it's a huge part of my life so whenever I hear someone say, "There's no good music" I try to help them out :) Here's a bunch of different genres with a few songs from each, just pick and choose!

Or, if you're lazy, check out this video that shows some pretty good variety while covering a pop song.
Well, I certainly appreciate the effort you put in to convince me! O.O

I guess I should point out, I don't think modern music is horrible, it's just not my cup of tea. I actually should say most pop music despite its age does not interest me in general. I just pointed out modern music since it's the thing I, as a younger person should be into.

Oh, where to begin? An oxymoronic statement, to be sure, but surely something we can all relate to on some level. Aggressively not caring about something is a nice way to rephrase a matter as something that inspires so much loathing that we wish we never had to deal with it.

For myself in respects to that, though? It's a long list....
1. The rate of stagnation in the anime & manga industry. People should really listen to the likes of Hayao Miyazaki instead of being silent witnesses to the convulsions & death throes of an industry on the brink, akin to the fall of Rome.

2. Pop Music. Just...why? Why are people suddenly surprised at some point in their lives that half-raised, self-entitled celebrity personalities who sing tasteless songs are a detriment to the development of their younger siblings or children, or even themselves? It's self-evident.

3. Gender Roles in Society/The Pro-Life & Pro-Choice Binary, & the influences it has wrought upon families, politics nowadays & possibly this newer age of children, raised by either a segment of socially acceptable zealots of one caste or another or a diffident, conventional & utterly mundane family that strives to be as detached from these affairs as humanly possible? It detracts away from media coverage of world events & political insights for a country, as well.

To be perfectly honest about that last one, in regards to the ad lib of Gender Roles, I have the personal experience of it being one of the most poisonous influences. I'm lucky that the woman in question, who haa had such a fine time driving me to the point of being a next-to-demented misanthrope by observing the scope of their influence, aren't conscious about the movements of feminism itself; they're just playing on the influences of family to a pathological degree to try & suit themselves, even to the point that a family home is unnecessarily 'adorned' in it's Central Room with a dancing pole, on the basis of 'Pole Fitness.' A practice, it seems that is never actually done in the house itself, thank her ambivalent physical health for that.

It came to a point however, last night, when an argument broke out over my own inability to properly gauge my emotional reaction to an otherwise minor altercation, which, despite my apology, was a preaching to a choir from another church of belief. And people slam physical objects when they are angered, don't they? My exercise in this instinctual reaction was reason enough for this woman to start attacking me. When she began a second tirade, I struck back. She was largely unhurt; clipped her rib, more of a fisted push than an actual attack, plus my footing was off with me being backed up into a counter.

So I am being avoided as much as humanly possible today, after I had to euthanise the concept of family in my own mind, or that a young adult male matters to people 'close to him' outside of his commodities/financial success, & after I was predated upon by her fiancee who was disgusted over how I could hit a woman, but not over how his woman seemed to dominate the rest of her house with emotional heckling/bullying, & even desecrated a Central Room of a house where the other adornments are a dining table for family dinners. Her life mate works as her effective thug, & my grandfather, her father, is an effective Mangina when having to deal with her, because outside of his own comfort zone he wants nothing to do with conflict. Nothing is worth getting beaten up for, on any level, whether it's emotional or physical.

4. Half-assed Family Values.

So, for the sake of my mental health & survival, I now have to turn to self-belief & set the measures in place to get out of this imitation of living a PG life with a loving family, where everyone reads from their script & nobody acts out of place. Unless they want to be linked to the social failure of another relative, who has issues of drug addiction.

I think that would be an effective example of aggressively not caring.

Breaking fucking Bad.

Never seen a damn episode, don't ever want to see a damn episode, and I will go out of my way to ignore people who are talking about the show.

Case in point; was on a plane yesterday, three hour flight; people behind me talked about Breaking Bad for what felt like the whole damn flight. Turned by 3DS sound up to max just to ignore it (my ears are still ringing a little).

"Aggressively"... "Don't care"... Does not compute.

If I didn't care about something, I certainly wouldn't be aggressive about my indifference. I'd be more, you know, indifferent.
"Aggressively don't care" is essentially when you flip your shit at people for talking about something because your sick of hearing about it. For me an example of this is when my friends are constantly going on about going clubbing and on about the 5th or 6th "I don't care" I end up saying something along the lines of "HOLY FUCKING SHIT, SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT ALREADY. I'VE ALREADY STATED I DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT IT MULTIPLE TIMES NOW SO SHUT YOUR FUCKING HOLE ABOUT IT BEFORE I SHUT IT FOR YOU". Another example for me would be about fan fictions. I mean really, i do not care about fan fictions even less about fan fiction crossovers and tend to get irritated by people like a friend of mine who like to go on and on about fan fictions and what not.
