Im scared by two things. Not just "thats bad" scared but "just thinking of it sends my mind to bad places"

1. Geting stuck while potholing. I will never go pot holing but the idea a person could get stuck in one is unthinkable. Google pot holing, you crawl, like army crawl, underground through very narrow pasages. What if one collapsed or had a dead end.
2. Massive chitinous crustations. Google coconut crab. Jesus. Just jesus.

Spiders, the thought of death, and being trapped somewhere.

To elaborate on the last one, If I'm locked in a room whith no possible way out, I will go apeshit.

I'll start with a strange one, I am terrifed by the songs Barbie Girl.

Sorry I had to do it.

My worst fear is heights.. You'd have to knock me out and drag me there to get me anywhere even remotely above sea level.

When I was younger I was absolutely terrified of earth worms. Night terrors and everything. I couldnt go outside if it had rained because there might be worms on the ground. Mean people could make me cry uncontrollably by thrown worms at me. It was bad. I didnt sleep well for years.

Now my biggest fear is that I will injure my brain somehow and become retarded.

Water that goes over my head, and anything that lives in it. I almost drowned in a lake when I was a kid though, so I guess I sort of have a good reason for it.

I guess the only "weird" or unusual phobia I have is a mild case of trypophobia.
I just Googled that, and I so wish I hadn't. The images that came up reminded me of something which disturbed the hell out of me on one of my occasional visits to 4chan.

More fool me, I guess.

Flying, stinging insects. This covers bees, hornets, wasps, and anything else you can think of. It gets so bad I see a fly and freak out before I can identify it as something NOT the spawn of Satan.

Being eaten alive by anything, particularly underwater.

On a slightly less logical note, the burst of maniacal laughter at the end of 'Thriller'. Nowadays it's just startling, but was scary in the past.

Poisonous creatures really. If the bug isn't poisonous it is just annoying, but when it is, it raises a bit of fear. I'm not a fan of being poisoned.

I am absolutely terrified of tight and/or closed spaces, so yeah, I'm very horribly claustrophobic, due to a certain...event in my life.

I'm also, even more so, terrified of aquatic depths.

Spiders. I hate em I hate em I hate em! Every spider I see has to be dealt with, at long range if possible.

Large spiders, extremely small spaces (unable to move) and excessive height. These are irrational fears, I can control them for a short while using what I consider to be my intellect (logic, common sense, rationality etc) but they will at some point override it, when that happens I get very scared. It is also, after the fact, fucking irritating.

Socially, rejection and anything that could lead to it. This is something of a handicap as so much can lead to rejection, it's just something I try to constantly battle.

Things that scare my intellect are seen as dull and uninteresting, in all likelihood, by some readers here. These would be things like Religion influencing state decisions, opportunities for profits being a major concern over and above any people based issues involved etc etc yada yada snore snore. Whatever, those kinds of issues.

Any kind of medical needles. I have extreme trypanophobia. Even if it's one of those IV things at a hospital, I freak out.

Goblin Sharks, then Basking Sharks, then Drowning, in that order.

Latter was from a near-death experience when I was a kid. The sharks...I don't know, they're just plain freaky, otherwise I love sharks.
